We’re in Afflecks!! (Manchester, UK)

We try to be mindful about where we source our materials from, especially clothing, and whilst we aren’t always perfect we strive to keep improving.

T-shirts and clothing are primarily sourced in charity shops or other second hand stores/ websites. This means sometimes they aren’t perfect but we want to work towards only buying what we need from good sources, so no more bulk buys from big companies.

This doesn’t mean that we haven’t done it in the past, any t-shirts that have been bought first hand or in bulk over the past few years are used first (which is why you may find new t-shirts from brands such as fruit of the loom still in stock) but moving forwards all clothing blanks that we buy are second hand.

This helps to reduce clothing waste but it also means that you get a unique piece of clothing.

Stickers are a tricky thing to navigate whilst wanting to be as eco friendly as we can be, we’ve got a long way to go to figure out exactly how to reduce our waste and negative environmental impacts.

All stickers are made at home, cut out by hand. Our sticker sheets don’t look too pretty when first printed out, we get as many designs onto a page as possible to help keep down the amount of cut out waste that we produce.

We’re currently looking into plastic packaging alternatives and better websites to buy other materials from, hopefully in a few months we can update this post to say that we’ve found the perfect way to make our stickers but for now we are still experimenting and trying new options.
