So Says Bug

We may cry as kings laugh but remember that kings die as peasants laugh.

The screams echo on the walls. The halls are full and listening takes effort; listen closely or you’ll miss the harm you cause.

Loneliness. It feels like a void so deep all will be lost. I hope you can look up and see the stars, then you could know.

The past long forgotten won’t always stay there. When that time comes, it’s okay to grieve the wrongs of your mothers, that pressure will erode you if left inside.

Flesh may remember but the present will not become past. There will be no time travel only from feelings. You will stay present despite the flesh’s recollection.

I will not be trusted if I only regale of the times before. Memory serves to entrap me but there are beasts within that fight back. We can get on.

Aches will return from time to time; the flesh only knows what it has learned, after all. It’s important to stay above the tide of panic, gods will not fear you as you do so. They will show who your true friends are.

Rage may fill you. This doesn’t mean you are in danger. Bodies will react to danger ages past, the gods meant for man to be hunted. Now man settles, if you refuse to entertain.

Your aches need not be identified to be soothed. There will be times when words could help but often it will pass on it’s own time.

The sadness consuming you wasn’t sent by God. Do not fret, he is not responsible for your bearings. However, he is responsible for the rain that washed away your chalk drawings when you were a child. He was picking them up so he could keep them on his fridge.

There’s fog in the ocean. I put it there to see if I could find him sooner. I couldn’t. He is still missing. Why is he missing? Where did he go? Where did she put him. This will not end. I will not end. I will find him, I will never stop finding him.

When the horrors of the day overwhelm you, scream to the gods. They probably won’t answer, but it’s nice to get the stress out.

Sometimes, it is good to fear god. Sometimes, god is a teenager.

When god dies and the sun still rises, will you determine your own fate?

The sun has many lovers, they surround themselves with them easily because their kindness shines throughout the galaxy. Many bask in the glory of the sun, appreciating the ways it provides and is unapologetically themself.

The sun would not spend time trying to prove to someone that it exists, it would continue to rise, shine, and set like it does everyday. So why should you?
