I bet there are some ex-Mormons who post in the LDS community tags on Tumblr, i.e. #tumblrstake, in order to be there for those who might be doubting the LDS church, or something like that, and I suppose that could be a noble motive. But you know, n the other hand, #tumblrstake is also supposed to be a positive community tag for LDS bloggers. And so often the noble goals you may have to help doubters get co-opted by people who just want to tear others down. Why not make your own tag dedicated to those who are doubting and questioning the church? That way you don’t have to stop posting what you want, #tumblrstake users don’t have to see it when they’re in the tag seeking positivity, and those seeking affirmation for their doubts have a place to do so. Making a new LDS-related tag worked for us with #queerstake.
