When they torture u to insanity and then torture you for being insane 😂😂😂

looking at someone's tags on my post and i know they're well meaning i know they believe in m e but seeing "intelligence isn't innate you can just learn and train for IQ tests maybe some disabled people will just need longer" and again i KNOW they really mean well and believe this but it does hurt to hear a little bit because for a lot of us, like me, our brains just won't grasp certain concepts. there are so many things where i've tried so, so hard and had things explained to me so many ways but it just can't stick in my head. i can't understand math more complex than the very basics, i can't understand programming and a lot of computer stuff, i struggle to read complicated things and i don't get complicated social stuff. my point is, that's not evil, it's not a bad thing, im not a bad person for not understanding this stuff. it's not that important that i understand it, it's more important that my life is accommodated for so that my disability doesn't mean i can't participate in day to day life. that's all. i don't need a high IQ or to understand complicated math or what certain social cues mean, i need people who are willing to be patient with me and help take care of me. why are you so fixated on the idea that surely we aren't really unintelligent and if we just try hard enough we can be like you?
