𝕓𝕠𝕠𝕪𝕒𝕙!

"𝙎𝙐𝙈𝙈𝙀𝙍𝙏𝙄𝙈𝙀'𝙎 𝘼𝙇𝙈𝙊𝙎𝙏 𝙊𝙑𝙀𝙍, 𝙔'𝙆𝙉𝙊𝙒. and you’re really gonna regret wasting this last opportunity for some fun in the sun. don’t come cryin’ to me when i get back with a sun-kissed tan.” he scoffed. but he’d been trying to get people to go with him to the beach for a last hurrah all day and frankly, he was getting real sick of going around in a tank top, board shorts with his inflatable tube already around his hips, lugging around his bag full of balls and other beach toys!      ron wasn’t a massive fan of the beach but he hadn’t been all summer and frankly, he was just itching to get out and cannon ball into the ocean where he’d later regret how much sand he had managed to get into his shorts.      offering one last puppy dog look, he batted his eyelashes as innocently as he could. “you-- you wouldn’t wanna make a young man cry, now would you? are you usually this heartless?”

         ╰ · 𝘹 › WALKING –– NO STUMBLING through the streets of sunnyside, a brown paper bag shaped suspiciously like a bottle clutched in his right hand, james laughed at himself. “ yo, ho. yo, ho ––– “ he began to sing quite loudly, surely disrupting someone’s peace.  what had started out as a simple day to quickly run errands and get back on his ship ended with far too long spent at the bar, mid day. it was embarrassing really, and hook would reap his consequences tomorrow, surely. but for now, he was content wandering down the street, causing a ruckus, “ you there! ” he called out, lifting the hand holding onto his bottle to point at whoever was standing just a few feet away from him. “ do you have the time? “ he had lost all track of time three drinks ago.

With a loose grip on the leash as Anya made her way across the park, she watched as Tuzik happily sniffed around the area, making sure that he was able to defend himself from other pups, it was a true ‘like mother, like pup’ moment whenever he did that. Everything seemed to be going just fine when Tuzik unexpectedly pulled so hard that the brunette stumbled forward with a little yelp, her grip loosening as her pup runs off towards either something or someone. “Tuzik, no!” Anya yells as she quickly runs after the puppy, only finally reaching the destination a short run away from her original spot. “I’m sorry, he doesn’t usually get this excited around stuff or people.” @sunnysidestarters

“don’t forget my chicken piccata. you have to admit that it’s pretty damn good.” kim brushed her shoulder with one hand and gave a little giggle. she definitely wasn’t a cook by any means but she tried. just like with everything else, she tried. to others, she seemed perfect at it all, but she knew the truth. she was gripping at straws with everything she tried. with ron she didn’t have to worry about all that. she didn’t have to worry about her imperfection because he accepted her no matter what. “i thought it was just common curtesy to ask.” she giggled as he began pulling out an apron. when she saw what was on it, though, the giggles turned into full on laughter. her body shook from the force and she had to wipe at her eyes before she could grab the apron. “you never told me that you got this jacked. i’ll have to get you shirtless sometime soon in order to cross reference.” her cheeks flamed when she realized how her words might have sounded. “how do i look?” kim asked, giving a twirl with the apron on.

kim thought of the boy she met in kindergarten. how her first comment was that he was weird but she liked him. he may have been a bit goofy looking but kim never thought of it like that. no, she thought it was cute. she though that he was cute. it was worse now. worse in the sense that she couldn’t deny there was a small flutter inside of kim whenever ron smiled at her. or when he looked at her as if she were the only person in the room despite there being dozens of other beautiful people around. kim flushed at his question and pretended to squint at the sun as if her reddened cheeks were from the heat of the day. “you’ve always been the good lookin’ part of our duo. why do you think i keep you around?” the girl teased, giving him a classic side smirk. “a great glow up but you’ve always been handsome ron. its just now that people are starting to notice it.” kim looked down, smiling to herself. “i’ve always known.”

"𝙊𝙃 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝙆𝙉𝙊𝙒 𝙄'𝙈 𝙅𝙐𝙎𝙏... 𝘾𝙃𝙄𝙇𝙇𝙄𝙉' 𝙇𝙄𝙆𝙀 𝘼 𝙑𝙄𝙇𝙇𝘼𝙄𝙉." he fell. he definitely fell. he fell so hard that the grass stains were visible on every light part of whatever he was wearing. and to pass it off as a cool gesture in front of some pretty girl was dumb but ron, himself, was quite dumb!     besides, his arm behind his bed with his leg crooked up on relatively soft grass wasn’t that bad... other than the fact he was absolutely sure he had landed on a pebble or something that made his back ache but! anything for appearances!      his smile twitched with the pain slightly but ron was not a man to give up     ( until it proved inconvenient for him to which he would happily give up whatever he was doing )    and he would keep up this appearance for how ever long it’d take! “the question is... why aren’t you sprawled out on the grass?” 

"𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝙂𝙊𝙏𝙏𝘼 𝘼𝘿𝙈𝙄𝙏 𝙄 𝙃𝘼𝘿 𝘼 𝙂𝙇𝙊𝙒 𝙐𝙋. like      --      come on, you can’t even deny it anymore.” ron was not a subtle person in the slightest, especially when it came to his best friend, so when a thought came to mind it was only natural for him to blurt it out to her     ( she should be used to it by now! )     but he couldn’t deny his feeling of pride over this fact. who would’ve known ron stoppable was a lil bit of a late bloomer! girls were starting to give him a bit more attention now before being pushed away by his... “over the top personality”. whatever that meant. but if there was one person he could allow his head to grow three ( hundred ) times its normal size, it was with kim. “maybe you should start watching your back more, kp, otherwise i’m gonna be the good lookin’ part of our duo and you get stuck with the brains part!” 

𝙃𝙀 𝘾𝙊𝙐𝙇𝘿 𝘽𝘼𝙍𝙀𝙇𝙔 𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙏𝘼𝙄𝙉 𝙃𝙄𝙎 𝙀𝙓𝘾𝙄𝙏𝙀𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏, awkward movements back and forth to simulate some weird form of dancing were the only way ron could translate his enthusiasm.      boy, has he been needing a night out since... forever.     and now was his night! and who better to spend it with than peter? absolutely no one. he hadn’t been out in ages and no shame clouded his opinions on style and whatever tonight... was he a bit fancy? maybe! or maybe he should dress down... a hoodie? would it get too hot? all these questions racing in his mind but he needed to get it decided as quick as possible.     ( wouldn’t wanna keep the ladies waiting, after all! )     quickly turning on his heel towards the other blond, he frowned and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. “formal or casual? dress shoes or sneakers? jacket or hoodie? help. me.” 

"𝙋𝙁𝙏 𝙃𝙄𝙈? 𝘿𝙊𝙉'𝙏 𝙈𝙄𝙉𝘿 𝙃𝙄𝙈. he’s just a goofy lil guy. couldn’t hurt a fly!” he watched as the white rat started to scurry towards the girl sat on the other side of the bench. maybe he shouldn’t have brought out rufus so nonchalantly in public, especially since people didn’t always respond so kindly to rats. but people around these parts didn’t seem to mind him so much!     ( or ron was just completely oblivious to the disgust on their expressions. but maybe that was for the better. )     tapping his best bud’s tail just a little bit with the tip of his finger to gain his attention, he looked back up at whoever the rat’s attention was aimed at in the first place and his own interests peaked. “you wouldn’t happen to have any cheese would ya? stereotypical, i know, but the my boy loves it! he doesn’t usually scurry to strangers too, ya know --” 

"𝙄 𝘿𝙊𝙉'𝙏... 𝙄 𝘿𝙊𝙉'𝙏 𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙉𝙆 𝙄𝙏'𝙎 𝙏𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝘽𝘼𝘿, 𝙄𝙎 𝙄𝙏?" honestly, it was a pretty gross hoodie      --      what with the faded out logo of his former high school and the small holes and rips that littered the corners and edges... he could’ve done worse! but it was the memories attached to it that he just couldn’t let go of. his years in high school were unforgettable and each moment deeply ingrained into this gross hoodie.... not to mention it was the only thing that didn’t have a mustard stain on it right now so the options were pretty limited as it was! frowning, he pulled the bottom of his hoodie forward, observing its disgusting glory      ( it couldn’t have been that bad! )      before looking up at the woman hesitantly. “i mean it -- it has character now, right!” 

"𝘼𝙍𝙀 𝙔𝙊𝙐 - 𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙎 - 𝙄𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙏𝙀𝘿 𝙄𝙉 𝙋𝙇𝘼𝙔𝙄𝙉𝙂... 𝘼 𝙂𝘼𝙈𝙀?" he asked, waggling his eyebrows in the direction of the girl in front of him. ron was pretty dang good at video games, if he do say so himself      ( which he definitely does ).      whether that was thanks to summers spent in the isolation of his room or the nerds he hung out with in high school -- video games has always been something close to his heart.     and ron wasn’t a sore loser about it either! he liked to play the game to actually play the game. winning wasn’t on his agenda     ( unless it came to showing off in front of girls... not like any girl is watching him in the first place ).      he barely waited for a response before jumping up from his sofa and eyeing the multiple consoles in front of the television he and peyton shared. “take your pick!” 

"𝙄'𝙈 𝙅𝙐𝙎𝙏 - 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝙆𝙉𝙊𝙒 - 𝙎𝙏𝙍𝙀𝙏𝘾𝙃𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙊𝙐𝙏, 𝙄𝙎 𝘼𝙇𝙇." why ron had agreed to go for a ron with dash was beyond him. he could run, damn he ran all the time when he was younger to escape all the mischief that kim had dragged him into      ( his fault for agreeing to it 100% of the time )      but damn... there was no way in deep h-e-double l that he was going to go against his younger friend in a race... so they settled on a simple jog. but how simple that jog would actually be was beyond him and ron, at this point, was much too afraid to ask. sure, he could’ve chickened out     ( he had no shame in doing that! )     but something deep, deep, down told him that this would be a good thing. sweat off all those extra croissants and pastries they’d been practicing in class. “stretching. so important!” 

𝙍𝙊𝙉 𝙒𝘼𝙎𝙉'𝙏 𝙎𝙐𝙋𝙀𝙍 𝙐𝙋 𝙏𝙊 𝘿𝘼𝙏𝙀 𝙒𝙄𝙏𝙃 𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙉𝙂𝙎 𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙀𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝘼𝙍𝙊𝙐𝙉𝘿 𝙎𝙐𝙉𝙉𝙔𝙎𝙄𝘿𝙀. he knew enough to put the pieces together here and there but in all? nope. nothing. names and faces were a bust to him and you know what, he was perfectly happy living in his carefree life!       however, there was something about the guy in front of him that seemed... familiar. now, ron wasn’t quite sure what it was that made him think that, but there was definitely something! and he wasn’t being very subtle about it either, eyes narrowed as he tried to piece the mental puzzle together and he finally decided on... a commercial model. hair products, maybe? something along those lines! and boy was he excited to finally meet a celebrity!     with no ounce of shame left in him, he approached the      “model”      “hey! you’re that guy! from that... thing!” 

Peyton sat perched upon the couch in his and Ron’s apartment. He was having a hard time with motivating himself to practice his piano so he decided to take a break from his keyboard. Debating whether or not he was about to make food, he glanced up when he heard a door open. “Oh, um, h-hey…”

                THE GUY’S REPLY may have seemed dramatic to someone else, but to tigger, it was so deep he couldn’t do anything but nodded and hum in an impressed manner. “ that’s… fucking poetical, man. “, he eventually let out before taking a bite from the burrito he’d been offered. when the guy explained how he didn’t indulge like this t h a t often, tigger couldn’t help but chuckle and nod. “ fine-ass indeed ! i mean, where do you put it all ? fast metabolism ? “, tigger asked, leaning forward, elbows on the table and chin in the palm of his hands as he kept his gaze fixed on ron. “ oh – what do you do ? “, he asked, his curiosity piqued now. 

if there was any consolation to hercomplete lack of awareness, at least there was someone else who was in the same boat. Wendy b u m b l e d over her spilled bag, her hands accidentally brushing up against the other’s more than once, causing an immense amount of red to make an appearance on her cheeks. “ This is my fault. I was rushing. Thinking I could get this all done in a day, “ she started, 𝒶𝓅𝑜𝓁𝑜𝑔𝑒𝓉𝒾𝒸. Fingers smoothed over her rumpled dress, now sporting some of the sidewalk, before brushing her disheveled locks away, “ I’m not usually like this. I promise. “
