Rest in peace Nichelle Nichols, December 28th 1932- July 31st 2022

Nichelle Nichols has passed away. 

Martin Luther King once convinced her to continue on as Uhura when she was about to quit. He told her how she was a role model for so many people and had to stay on. He rightfully recognized her as a trailblazer and the inspiration she continued to be.

Goats are more like low browsers than grazers, and some of our worst invasive species (Amur honeysuckle for example) are DELICIOUS to goats.

You don't have to basically totally un-forest a patch of land for goats (the reason you don't see a lot of trees in cattle pastures is partly because cattle scratch themselves against the trees and rub all the bark off and kill them).

They're less capable of killing you. (The "300 people are killed by cattle per year" statistic actually does have more to say about cattle than about statistics—they are enormous and they Can Kill You)

They're more feasible to keep on a relatively small plot of land.

My best friend (the goat farmer family friend) says it's superior to cow's milk for smoothies. It probably is more suited to ice cream because of the higher fat content if anything

We ought to be doing the same thing as protestors outside women’s health clinics.

Marie kondo makes me so happy because she pays attention to the reasons of mess, shame, guilt, hopelessness, and addresses them!

None of this wandering into someone’s house and assuming they shat out the mess because they’re a dumb fuck who hates being clean and they’re dirty and gross because they hate society and order, but it’s ok bc we can FIX It and they will be normal again haha.

Like honestly, Marie “I love mess” Kondo is a breath of fresh air, after watching “experts” ask struggling human beings “why they are so stubborn?” , and “when did you last use this?” so often that all I felt when I tried to clean was upset and panicked.

I want a life that suits us both. I know I am imperfect, but I will humble myself before you because I cannot imagine my live without you, and that is why I wish to marry you.
