Not trying to goner bait, but, I drew fnaf characters over the poses I was studying
I did art fight this year, but half way through I had to lock in to my history of rock music summer class. (Passed it), here is the collection of attacks I did. Before I get too into it, Iāll just say that I donāt draw digitally often. Going into art fight this year, I wanted to improve my digital artist skills which I think I managed to do.
This is the first one. I found almost all of these by searching by random. I was mostly getting the feel for my iPad for this drawing. I canāt say I was trying much new as I already had an understanding on how different layer types work (hard light, overlay, etc.), but I am proud of it. (Periwinkl3)
This one was for a friend of mine. Again, just trying to get the feel of the pen in my hand. (Yourmomsnewboyfriend)
This one I experimented with. The guy on the bottom mostly, I havenāt done much lineless art, but I surprised myself with the face of the guy there. The cat on the left I could have worked harder to give him smother lines, and the fox looking dude on the right is exactly how I imagined him. I might revisit him to do him in a more detailed style, but right now he itches my brain⦠well they all do. (Crash707 Minitonny blondiezombie)
I need to revisit this one. I rushed it, and I feel like an idiot because of it. Straighter lines, better anatomy, more detailed background⦠good expressions. (MissingLaterals Naninadz trashghost)
This one I started to experiment with the line art more. Could have detailed the shoes more, donāt know why I put so many highlights. Solid piece for what I experimented with. (PictoPIX)
This one is for another friend. I tried something more rough and raw. Lots of lines for lighting as you can see. The lighting is a bit inconsistent, however I do like this piece, one of my favorites. Its appearance is probably the closest to how my art ālooksā in āreal life.ā (Timberinthetrees)
My other favorite, further from how things look in real life. But, here, you can start to see me finding the things that work for me in how I approach lines and shading. I could have spent a little more time making sure everything was in the lines, but I was running out of time and needed to do more school work. (kelp_k3l)
Last one of the year, a quick experiment with brushes. Not much to say (SubukuNoJess)
My art fight is BucketOTeeth, go look through my attacks to find the original creators of the characters, they are all great and kind. I know they have their own socials, so go follow them because they are great. Looking back, Iām unsure by how much Iāve improved as an artist, but I have definitely improved since the first attack. You might wonder about my characters, donāt. They were quickly drawn and lazy. (I have done this all on a new iPad as my old one broke the very first day of July. So I had none of the prepared characters from before July)
Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
