what the heck. everything's all switched around and my xkit settings don't seem to be working anymore??? (edit: okay SOME of my xkit settings, e.g. i'm seeing the stuff on radar again when i shouldn't be)

so my apartment fridge had been on the fritz (not cooling properly, it got up to ~70F in there for like 5-6 hours at a time according to a fridge thermometer I bought, and the freezer was getting up to around 50F) for the last like month or so, so they said they were going to replace my fridge. i was expecting it on the 7th and happened to run into the maintenance guy who told me he was expecting a call from the deliverers that day. i didn’t hear anything else that day so i’m assuming they didn’t call him. ff to like... monday the 10th i think, didn’t hear anything, same with tuesday and i think also wednesday. on either wednesday or thursday i called the maintenance guy (whose number was in my phone from the last time he called) and learned that, unbeknownst to me, he was on vacation that week, but he said to ask the apartment manager about it. long story short(er), manager said the new fridge was now scheduled for delivery on monday the 17th and did I have a cooler to keep my food in? i said no (i have no need of one, or at least I never did before), so she said I could borrow hers, and they’d come on the morning or afternoon of the 17th and haul away the old fridge and the new one would be delivered later. ff to yesterday, the 17th. maintenance guy (different one than the one i called) came by with the cooler, i put all my food in it (but no ice yet bc i wasn’t expecting to need to use it for more than a couple of hours), he came back and took the old fridge out and said the new one would be delivered “after 3:30″. so i waited until then, no fridge. okay, it’s only a little after 3:30. waited some more. 5 pm (when manager goes home for the day) came and went, no fridge. 6 pm, no fridge. finally at around 7:30 there’s a knock on the door and it’s maintenance guy. he asks if the fridge had been delivered yet. it had not. he said they’d texted him that it had been, but if it was, it was certainly not delivered to my apartment and nobody knew where it was actually delivered to. he said they weren’t answering his calls but that he’d let management know. got an apologetic VM from manager this morning and she said the fridge is now scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, the 19th. i hope it is because goddamn. she didn’t say where the fridge was originally mistakenly delivered to though, might have to ask about it tomorrow.
