I believe Rokdo’s Pillar Mechanics needs further clarification since I’m seeing people getting wiped by this that may not be explained clearly from other sources.
I’ll quote from my own Forsaken Island guide:
“All the pillars have to be destroyed within 3 seconds from the first one that got destroyed. Meaning that at the 60% phase for example you cannot just destroy one pillar and then wait 3 seconds later to destroy the last one. If you wait 3 seconds later after the first pillar destroyed you won’t get the barrier buff.”
So you CANNOT just break one pillar early and then proceed to destroy the last one. As SOON as you break ONE pillar, you start that 3 second buff where once all pillars are destroyed your entire party gets the 3 seconds barrier. Just look at the buff icon and you’ll clearly see what I’m talking about. Just delay on breaking the pillars and you’ll be just fine on this simple mechanic.
It should be noted that the pattern depicted here isn’t always what occurs either. Sometimes the pillars will appear in a Box formation around the BAM with two at the front and 2 at the back, rather than a Diamond formation.
