Dear Americans, identifying as a communist is just as offensive as being a literal nazi in a very big part of the world. The hammer and sickle is an offensive symbol that is banned in many countries, just like the swastika. Likely more people died under communist oppression than nazism, and there are people still alive who can tell you about it.

And no, don’t come at me with all this “but the core ideology was good!!” or especially “here we do not have this connotation so it’s not offensive!”. Your media, culture and standards are forced on the entirety of the rest of the world, and whatever you post in english is understandable for everyone else, if I am decent enough to care about issues like blackface (that literally have zero history in eg. my entire country which was never a colonizing nation), you should be decent enough and not make a hip cool internet trend about an oppressive ideology whose victims still remember the horrors and still suffer the consequences :)

My school has a Communist group. The group itself has done positive actions like worker strikes so cafeteria workers could get paid (a movement I wholeheartedly supported), but to wear the name so proudly would open old wounds for my Vietnamese family.

Who’s more protective: I think they both have a protective streak, but because Natasha is more of risk taker, Bruce’s protective side comes out more often, especially if Hulk is close to the surface. 

Who’s the cuddler: Natasha, I think. I see her as being very tactile in their relationship and she’s the one who seeks it out more often. 

Who’s the big spoon/little spoon: Bruce is the big spoon and Nat is the little spoon, but I think they go back and forth from time to time. 

What’s their favorite non-sexual activity: They like exploring the little town they settled in or taking short road trips to interesting places around the country. They just walk and talk.  

Who uses all the hot water: Bruce. He just gets so caught up in his thoughts that he loses track of time and doesn’t realize how long he’s been in the shower. It infuriates Natasha, but she’s taken to joining him as a solution. 

Most trivial thing they fight over: Leaving lights on a night. Bruce has a habit of leaving some on when he goes to bed, but Nat likes to sleep in complete darkness and gets annoyed when she has to get up to turn them. 

Who does most of the cleaning: I’d say it’s split pretty evenly down the middle. 

What has a season pass on their dvr/Who controls the netflix queue: Natasha made a separate Netflix profile because the only thing that came up was Bruce’s endless documentaries. He likes to make fun of her obsession with crime shows, but she doesn’t care. 

Who leaves their stuff around: Natasha is a bit of a slob, she’ll leave clothes around the house and leave things on the counter in the kitchen. Bruce is a bit disorganized with his work, but that’s all contained to his work space. Natasha is worse by far. 

Who remembers to buy the milk: They keep a list on the fridge that Bruce is better at adding things to than Nat is, but Natasha is the one that is better at actually making the trips to the grocery store. 

Who remembers anniversaries: Both are pretty terrible. 

Who cooks normally: Bruce is the better cook, but Natasha has learned over the years from her time around Laura. She’s not completely terrible, but Bruce likes to cook more so she lets him. 

How often do they fight: Outside of little bickering, not very often. 

What do they do when they’re away from each other: Bruce doesn’t sleep as well when Natasha’s away, he’s gotten to used to sleeping beside her. Natasha checks in more than she probably should, but deep down she’d afraid he won’t come back again. 

Nicknames for each other: Bruce calls her Nat and Tasha and Natasha likes to revert back to calling him Doc when she’s feeling playful. 

Who is more likely to pay for dinner: Bruce likes to offer, being the gentleman that he is, but Nat isn’t impressed. More often than not they take turns or go Dutch. 

Who steals the covers at night: Natasha ends tangled up in all the blankets every morning. Bruce keeps a blanket for himself at the end of the bed for that very reason. 

What would they get each other for gifts: Bruce tends to find something sentimental while Natasha will get him something practical, but personalized. 

Who kissed who first: Natasha kissed Bruce first. He was uncertain where things stood now that they were finally back together again and the circumstances after the Snap. Natasha grabbed him by the collar and planted one on him, erasing any doubt he might have had.  

Who started the relationship: Bruce wanted to make it “official” and Natasha was more than willing. 

Who cusses more: Natasha is more casual about it, Bruce more so when he get riled up. 

What would they do if the other one was hurt: Natasha would be more calm on the outside, but hover and refuse to leave his side until she was absolutely certain he was all right. Bruce is a little more frantic and touchy wanting to fix what happened himself.  

Who is the dirty talker: Natasha is definitely better at keeping her cool while trying to seduce him. Bruce gets himself worked up and sort of stumbles over his words but it does the trick either way. 

Who is more grumpy in the morning: He’s not exactly grumpy, it just takes Bruce a little longer to wake up in the morning. Natasha is definitely the morning persona and finds it terribly endearing the way he shuffles through the house in the mornings. 

He loved her; why, he didn’t know. He wanted to settle down and be at peace. Avoid stress. She wanted to settle down as well, but didn’t know how; she couldn’t settle down no matter how much she wanted it.

Every time he would lose it, she would come after him. She would bring him back and he loved her for it. In return, he would nurse her back to health after the missions S.H.I.E.L.D would send her on. He hardly ever attended missions anymore. He was in the research lab, but Fury believed Bruce would distract Natasha.

Fury didn’t want to chance his best agent getting distracted and endangering the other Avengers.

Bruce believed it was a great idea and agreed straight away to stay out of the line of fire. Of course, the other guy had nearly as much trouble watching Natasha in danger as Bruce did.

After every mission, he would nurse Natasha back to health. Through all of her horrible nightmares of her past, the continuous wounds, and the sleepless nights. He was there for her and he loved her.

The bruises lining her pale skin killed him; cleaning the cuts and picking out the debris angered him. He hated seeing her weak, but only because she hated letting people see her in that state.

There was a difference between weakened and soft; he loved the softness she showed him when he was lost. She would always find him, and despite the issues they both suffered, they made it together.
