To be clear, I'm not suggesting Feyre and Amarantha are the same person or that Feyre is evil like Amarantha. However, they do share several notable experiences, traits, and motivations.

In some ways, Amarantha can be read as a warped reflection of Feyre, like a figure in a fun-house mirror.

Parallels include:

Both gain the powers of the seven High Lords.

Both are referred to as “huntress.” (As far as I can tell, they’re the only characters in the Maasverse with this title.)

Both go to extreme lengths to take (excessive) revenge on behalf of their sister(s).

Both receive titles that emphasize their ability to lie and deceive. (Amarantha is called “The Deceiver,” while Feyre is called “Sweet-Tongued Liar” and “Lady of Many Faces.”)

Both infiltrate other courts in order to manipulate, steal, or bring ruin.

Both go to great lengths to be with Tamlin and end up with Rhysand, though under very, very different circumstances.

Both have a preoccupation with power and control.

Both rule from thrones in dark, subterranean courts, using fear and intimidation to maintain their power. (The descriptions of Feyre on the dais of the Hewn City are almost identical to those of Amarantha Under the Mountain.)
