Gift giving as Spamton’s love language. I like to think in the beginning of their relationship, Spamton would be more picky with his gifts. Only giving Tenna jewelry and such. But now, he just gives him stuff he finds really interesting and Tenna cherishes them all.

Inspired by many artists, I drew human/monster spamtenna, but Spamton is the monster.

Y’know the one scene from ‘The Hunchback of Notre-Dame‘ (the book) where Esmeralda’s mom fights the executioner to save her daughter, but dies trying?

I like to think that happens to Tenna. (Maybe they reunite with Tenna as a ghost??)

This wrecks Spamton and he slowly descends into madness, becoming more like his canon self.

Basically, Spamton and Tenna were business partners/lovers that split after the humans created the barrier. Spamton would send letters down the mountain and Tenna would stay in the ruins.

The letters stop coming after Spamton dies an early death but Tenna doesn’t know that, he assumes Spamton moved on, or forgot about him, etc…
