When the call for entries came and the theme was the moon...immediately I started planning my pattern. I researched and sketched and worked out the colors with @magpiefibers and knit it... not once or twice but 3 times before I had it right. I wanted it to be reflective of the power of the moon and the power of women and their connection to the ebb and flow of nature. I wanted it to be a tribute to the light that shines in all women and a tribute to women in all phases of life...symbolized by the waxing and waning moon. Her name is Ixchel...ππππͺπ» the mayan goddess of midwifery and medicine. #Repost @pompommag Thank you @amygwatkin for the beautiful photo. γ»γ»γ» We spy a full moon... welcome Issue 26! π Our Autumn issue, inspired by all things lunar is now available to pre-order, or you can subscribe to receive a wonderful year of Pom Pom!
