With this week wrapping up our 2020-version of Thanksgiving, we have really been reminded how especially lucky we are and how thankful we should be for making it through this crazy year. So much hardship has occurred in 2020 (involving the pandemic and not) and so many lives have had to be put on pause or have tragically ended because of it. Josh and I have had to get very creative to say the least, to learn again how to make our time spent with ourselves and others special while also paying careful attention to being safe. We decided to let our life unpause for a brief second on October 9th, 2020 and get married, so Iβd like to share some photos from that! Due to the state of the world it was not the wedding I had always imagined myself having, but it was perfect. Joshβs dad officiated and we were married on an unoccupied section of the beach in Tybee Island under the moodiest, most gorgeous sky and in front of our very closest family, our parents and siblings. I had always been told planning a wedding was a little tough, but planning one during a global pandemic was something no wedding books or online articles could have prepared me forβwhat a unique experience! I say all of that to (finally) announce that joyous occasion and to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to our family and friends who helped us make that day happen and who understood how non-traditional it needed to be. We of course would have wanted ALL of our family and friends there to share in the moment, but we know that we are modifying things now to ensure a much happier future later on. Hope you are all doing well, and Happy Thanksgiving from The Croweβs. β€οΈ (at Tybee Island, Georgia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CIMx_7yj19jsugyBgFrrOwtxXanXU7hrb3xCi40/?igshid=1b3bmttboxnow
