Naomi thought of herself as a big girl, she wasn’t a baby.

Since the Revolution she had witnessed other people regressing all the way back to babyhood, including her best friend Nikki. Naomi had not escaped mental regression entirely, she missed adult things like coffee, independence and sex! However she acknowledged that she was lucky by comparison.

Naomi got to travel to playschool every week day and her Daddy occasionally took her on trips to the zoo or the playground. Nikki spent most of her time in a playpen (Naomi had visited and been set in there too) and was confined to the trolley seat on grocery trips with her Mommy.

Naomi could run, jump and play. She only occasionally needed Daddy to carry her if she had walked too far and felt tired. Nikki had forgotten how to walk. Her legs just kicked erratically. Her Mommy pushed her around in a stroller if they went out.

Naomi got to eat yummy finger foods and sweet treats she could feed herself. Nikki was spoonfed mushy food in a highchair and breastfed from her Mommy.

Naomi didn’t really need her diapers. She could use the potty when Daddy sat her on it. Nikki was completely dependant on the thick cloth diapers and plastic pants she wore constantly.

As Naomi contemplated these differences her Daddy came to check on her. He noted the drooping diaper falling below the hem of her cute toddler dress. He told her to hold up her dress so he could check her properly.
