Olivia Pierce was born and raised in Chicago. She was raised by an abusive, alcoholic father.
Her mother died during childbirth and was left in the care of her father. He blamed her for her mother’s death. He began drinking as she got older. On top of that, she began looking like her mother more and more everyday. From the dark brown hair to the blue eyes. That infuriated her father because it was a reminder of what he loss. So her childhood became hell. Her father had gotten so drunk to the point she would end her days crying in bed, covered in bruises.
She never questioned anything and always did she was told. She would tread lightly and never cried in fear of him laying her hands on her again. Some nights she got lucky that she was able to sleep without the pain because he had gotten too drunk and fell asleep.
This had continued up until the age of seven where Olivia found a bracelet that belonged to her mother and wore it. her father spotted it and the next thing she knew, she woke up in the hospital with a broken arm, black eye and a bruised lip and cops outside her door along with a woman talking to the doctor
She was told that her father had been arrested after someone who was walking past her place that night, heard the screaming. She was told that she had nothing else to fear and she was safe. Olivia broke down crying from the freedom she finally got from hell.
Olivia met her aunt for the first time at the hospital. An aunt she never knew she had but was thankful when she found out her aunt would take her in. But Liv was traumatized. She never spoke a word, panic if she did anything wrong.
Not long after the virus had taken the world by storm. She and her aunt managed to escape but along the journey. What Olivia didn't realize that her aunt had gotten infected. She realized when her aunt started not acting herself. The last of her family. It broken her completely. Before she was attacked, her aunt was shot down right before her by a soldier that had found them. Her aunt was infected and killed right in front of her eyes. She couldn't be upset that the soldier had done his job but she was grateful that they saved her.
She found a new home and a family. She couldn’t find the joy but she felt the comfort of those who raised and helped her. Olivia learned that she was best at taking care of others. So she decided to become a nurse. She liked the feeling of being able to help those in need.
By the age of 28, her home had been overrun by infested and she had to make her escape, even if it meant she had to leave people behind. Not by choice but because they told her to escape.
Soon, Olivia came across Jackson. They welcomed her with a new home, food and anything else she needed. She wondered how long until she had to run again but for now, she was going to enjoy what she had now.

Kenji's voice was monotone as he spoke, not even bothering to look up from the chunk of wood he was whittling away at. The edge of his knife carefully scraped away bits and pieces of the wood, working to make a little bird as he sat on a bench waiting for Sasha's arrival. Sure, only a minute or two had passed since the clock struck their designated training time, but Kenji was a man with a busy schedule...especially after the mess that the last raid had brought. It was clear more training was needed for a good portion of the town. And those who were already well versed? Practice would make perfect. It was only when the footsteps were closer that he took a moment to glance at his trainee. "Have you stretched yet?" He questioned, just a monotone and seemingly uninterested as before.
Angry was one of many words that described the way Sasha felt after the raid. Broken glass, stolen items and people injured. All that happening through one night. She felt especially angry with herself for not being stronger to take more raiders down and leaving herself injured. She needed to train more and the perfect person to help her was Kenji. She walked into the training area and heard his voice. "Barely." she responded back as she stood before him. "Don't you know me by now? I always do unless you wanna help me stretch some more. Maybe see how much more flexible i am." she teased, tying her hair up carefully. She still had some pain from her injuries but she wasn't going to let that stop her from training. She needed to get stronger. “Whatcha making over there?” She asked, nodding her head at the wood in his hand.
Of course. It had to be a terrible ex keeping Sasha from having another special person. Sebastian wrinkled his nose slightly, giving his head a little shake of disapproval. "Those darn exes, am I right?" He laughed quietly after, as if he had his own bad ex story to share. He certainly didn't, but letting Sasha in on his own lack of a love life so quickly was not on his to do list. What was on his to do list was to keep Sasha coming back for as much meat and sweet drinks as she wanted. But the wink. The wink had, yet again, sent Sebastian straight toward being a flustered mess. "Heh--best meat and best drinks in town. Promise ya that," he nodded as he boasted. Normally, he wasn't one to brag too much but he had to seem cool if he wanted Sasha to stick around. "If I get some new fruit in sometime, you'll be the first to know."
She nodded in agreement, exes sucked. They ruined the good things and time. but now she wasn't too bothered by them. Especially her own after they parted. She hoped he was dead. if not and she were to ever come across him, she'd killed him herself. "What about you? You're a good-looking man, tall, kind and good with your hands. How are you not in a relationship? That's even more mind boggling to me." she said with a chuckle. Sipping more from the bottle, she held out to him and offered to share. "I'll hold you to that promise." her smile growing bigger. Sebastian was truly kind to her and it was...refreshing. He had this presence that made her feel at ease. Something she didn't get to feel often. "Yeah? You're more than welcome to bring some over whenever you want if you decide to."
Like an obedient student listening to his teacher, Sebastian nodded his head as Sasha gave her instructions. Reaching out, he took hold of the woman's arm just as told, eyes closing and teeth clenching in anticipation for the pain that was sure to come. And come it did. He winced, bloodied fingers tightening slightly on Sasha's arm and jaw tightening as he did his best to hold it together. Thankfully, the worst of it only lasted a few moments. His grip let up quickly, a deep, shaky breath filling his lungs as he opened his eyes. There was a weak smile offered to Sasha as the butcher sat up just slightly to help with the wrapping of the wound. At least the bleeding would be controlled--and hopefully any infection was chased away with the alcohol.
"Doctor Sasha," he teased, still somehow remaining lighthearted even in the worst of moments. "Before ya go find someone, lemme wrap you up," he suggested, knowing that his wound wasn't the only one that needed some tending. While he wasn't a doctor, he was pretty confident that he could manage some sterilizing and wrapping. "Can't have you bleedin' out in the hallway, either."
Sasha looked up at Sebastian and gave him a small smile. "Right, good idea." she replied quietly. She slowly lifted her shirt, her now very bloody top to show the stab wound and injuries from her broken rib. She winced with every move she made lifting her arms. She was thankful for someone helping her out. Someone like Sebastian who was also someone that had a calm presence that put her at ease.
"Definitely not my best look to show off." she joked lightly as she took a step closer to him so he could pour the alcohol on her own wound. She felt herself swaying a bit so she quickly took hold of Sebastian's arm. Taking a slow, deep breath she gave him another smile to assure him she was okay knowing that he would say something at her current condition.
Hearing that Sasha wasn't seeing anyone, Sebastian's face twisted in confusion. "Why not?" The question left him before he could stop himself, but he truly did wonder how on Earth someone as pretty as Sasha didn't have ten guys following her around like puppy dogs. "I mean--ahem--" he cleared his throat quickly, doing his best to cover up his obvious curiosity ( and the fact he was flustered by the way she wiped that single drop of sweet drink away ). "I did--yes, ma'am, I did," he blurted out, a proud smile forming on his face. "I know some people 'round here get tired of water 'n alcohol so I just--thought I'd whip somethin' up for those of us who don't really drink beer 'n stuff." Feeling as if he was talking a little too much, he tightened his lips, forcing himself into silence for at least a second or two before he added-- "Can make ya some anytime ya need a sweet treat."
Sasha's brow shot up at his question before a small laugh escaped her. "Because i've been staying away from being in a relationship with anyone. My ex is the cause of it." she explained. It's not like Sasha couldn't get a boyfriend, it was just more of refusing to have one. She had lost all trust and faith in relationships. Worried to put herself through months, possibly years with the same person only to see their true colors and hurt her in the end again. Hook ups were just easier. But she shook the thoughts about relationships away and focused on the drink he made. "This is honestly the best thing i've ever tasted. Its been so long since i've had something as good as this." she complimented, sipping the drink once more. "Really? Thanks. Now i have an excuse to come by more often for something other than meat." she said with a playful wink.

As Sasha's hands were placed on his shoulders and her stern reasoning was given, Sebastian knew there was no use in arguing. If there was anything he had learned from his grandmother, it was that a headstrong woman always got what she wanted. With slumped shoulders and a soft nod, Sebastian lowered himself back on the table, allowing himself some much needed rest. Had the situation been less dire, there would have been blood to warm his cheeks at the sight of Sasha's overshirt being removed. But no such thoughts were crossing Sebastian's mind as he gave a little nod, closed his eyes, and let himself relax as best he could while Sasha left for help.
The sound of her returning had his tired eyes fluttering, head turning to catch sight of her. His stomach churned at the news. No doctors meant no proper examination. No proper examination meant--Sebastian forced the worry of organ damage to the side, mentally yelling at himself to stay strong. He had a family, and a whole town, to take care of. "I trust you," he confirmed, smiling weakly up at the woman who could have potentially held his life in her hands. "But--only if you let me help you after," he muttered, returning a bit of her own stubbornness.
Sasha nodded before removing her shirt from his wound. "If you need to, you can squeeze my arm for the pain." she suggested. It was probably the only way for him to endure it since making any noise would alert any lurking raiders. "Okay i'm starting." she commented before pouring the rubbing alcohol on the wound to clean it. She spent the next few minutes doing the best she could cleaning his wound and wrapping the gauze around him tight enough to stop the bleeding. She prayed with everything in her that the wound didn't leave any severe damage.
"Okay, that should hold out until you're seen by a doctor." she said, glancing at her bloodied hands before dropping them to her side. "i'll keep looking for a doctor and i won't stop until there is one in here to help you, okay?" she vowed. She felt dizzy from the blood loss but she was pushing herself to keep up her energy to make sure that Sebastian got the help he needed. Him and anyone she came across on her hunt for a doctor.
It's going to be okay. It's going to be okay. Sasha's words repeated over and over in Sebastian's mind, burying deep and latching on to the hope that still lingered. Though he was more than thrilled to see that Sasha hadn't been lost to the raiders, there wasn't time ( or energy ) to speak to much. And if he did, what if it attracted lingering raiders? "Sash," he mumbled, arm thrown around her shoulder to ensure he didn't collapse. With what little strength he had, he gave her arm a squeeze, hoping it was understood that he was so very thankful for her showing up and helping him.
A soft groan escaped him as he was helped onto the hospital bed, one hand still applying pressure over his oozing wound. But it felt better to lay down--better to just not move. "Sash--" He repeated again, finally taking a moment to look at his savior as the soothing stroke of her hand was felt. And it was soothing even in such a terrifying scenario. He smiled--barely--but it was there. As was a look of worry that quickly washed over him when eyes fell upon Sasha's own bleeding wound. "No--" he mumbled, immediately sitting up despite the wave of pain that shot over him. "No--you lay. I'll--get help," he forced out.
Just as she was about to step away to find help, she watched as Sebastian sat up. She puts a hand on his shoulder to stop him. "I'm fine, i'm use to this. It's basically my job to hunt down people. Getting injured is a part of it. You need to stay here and not bleed out. The town's gonna need their butcher." She gave him a smile to reassure him before looking around for a gauze or anything. To her luck, there was nothing in the room. Raiders took it all. "Fuck." she muttered.
She slips her shirt off, glad she was wearing tank underneath, rips a part of it and ties it above her wound to stop the blood flow. She winced at the pain and took a quiet, slow breath. Turning back to Sebastian, she uses the rest of her shirt to apply pressure on his. "I'll be back quickly. Two minutes top." She grabs the gun and heads out, staying alert. Searching everywhere, she wasn't having any luck. "Damn it." she huffed and returned within the two minutes she had said.
"i couldn't find a doctor." she said when she returned. "Im sorry." her voice was shaky as she moved back to his side where he was wounded. "B-But i found these." She held up the rubbing alcohol and gauze that she had acquired off a dead raider. "Do you trust me to clean it?" she asked. "I'll be gentle."
Adrenaline had kept Sebastian going throughout the raid, keeping his mind from the fact that there was a dead raider in his living room and the wound in his own stomach. But now, as he sat outside on the stairs of the ransacked and raided butcher's shop, reality was setting in. There was no meat left. Nothing in the freezers for winter. There was a body in his living room with Sebastian's own arrow protruding from an eye socket. People were hurt, but his family was safe.
It was the sound of someone crying nearby that snapped the hunter out of his daze, eyes finally blinking and no longer staring blankly into the distance. Coming back to reality, a very bloody Sebastian looked around slowly, taking in the sight of their once safe Jackson now a mess. It was after turning just a bit too much to the side that he winced, head tilting down to look at the blood stained shirt he wore--the shirt that wasn't covered in just the enemy's blood.
A shaky hand reached down over a torn bit of fabric just a few inches above his left hip, feeling the warmth of blood oozing out over his fingertips. Perhaps that was the reason for him feeling so cold. Perhaps that was why dizziness had begun to settle in as he sat on the old steps. With a shaky hand, Sebastian looked up, panic beginning to flood his mind. The doctors and nurses were probably busy with others--maybe busy with more serious injuries. But he didn't know how deep it was. He didn't know just how much blood he had already lost. And so, with worry beginning to take over, Sebastian slowly stood from the stairs, taking a few wobbly steps away from the butcher's shop as he called out to anyone nearby.
"Help."
It had all happened so fast. One minute she was in bed about to sleep, the next were the sounds of screams echoing through the night and her door getting kicked in. As soon as the raider came into her view, her flight or fight response kicked in and those next few minutes felt like forever. Glancing down at the knife in her, she yanked it out and tosses it aside, grabs a gun and stumbles out of the apartment. She just needed to hurry and help anyone else in town. Her hand trying to stop the blood from where the raider stabbed her as she hurried around town.
Holding her the weapon up in front of her, she was ready to gun down any other raider. When she heard a voice, it sounded familiar and immediately followed it. It lead her to the butcher's shop where she saw Sebastian. A sigh of relief escaped her before she winced in pain, biting down on her lip to hold back the scream she wanted to let out. She tried to push it aside and hurried over to him. "Sebastian.." she saw the blood on him as panic washed over her but needed to be calm for his sake. "It's going to be okay." she assured him gently then moved to wrap an arm around him to hold him up, ignoring all the pain that was shooting through her and the fact that blood was oozing out of her own stab wound. Right now Sebastian needed help.
If the raiders invaded the butcher shop, it was sure that they raided the hospital. It was the best choice but didn't know how many were there and Sebastian needed to see a doctor. She quickly but quietly helped him to the hospital, keeping an eye out for any raiders. Sasha prayed that they would be safe until they got there. her prayers were answered and they got in. She would look around corners and in each room for a raider but there was one was empty. She helped him onto a bed and laid him down. "It’s going to be okay. i'll go find help." she said, her shaky hand reaching out and stroking his hair to calm him down.
It had to be a joke. It had to be a cruel, cruel joke that Maverick had set up to embarrass Sebastian. No way was a woman like this so obviously showing interest. Sebastian was flustered, growing warm from head to toe and sure that his ears were beet red. "I uh--um--" He cleared his throat, hands squeezing the counter for support as he tried his best to form a proper sentence. "Don't got a girlfriend," he managed to force out, an awkward smile following. "You got a boyfriend?" He questioned, though immediately regretted it after the words slipped out. He would turn quickly on his heel before even getting an answer, darting into the back to hide from his embarrassment and to grab her one of the cold drinks they had left. He took a deep breath as he snagged the glass bottle filled with a mixture of water, honey, and mashed berries. "Just breathe, Sebastian. Just breathe," he whispered to himself, calming down just a bit before he ventured back out with a smile. "It's real refreshin'. Bit of berries and honey in there to sweetin' it up," he explained as he offered it out to her.
Sebastian was just getting cuter by the second. So cute that she wanted to eat him up. The moment they exchanged words, the smile on her lips never faltered. This was the most fun she had in a conversation with someone. When he answered that he didn’t have a girlfriend, she mentally kicked down the invisible wall that kept the distance of how far she could go with him. But before she could answer, she watched him disappear to the back, her eyes quickly checking him out from behind. She laughed quietly to herself as she waited. Sasha was definitely looking forward to spending more time with him. She was gonna have some more fun. "Thank you." she takes the bottle from him and took a long swig from it. She then wiped the drop that slid down her chin with her finger and licked it off as her eyes met his. "And no, i don't have a boyfriend." she responded. "By the way, this is really good. Did you make it?"

"I'm sure I can handle you flirting with me, unless you're..scared. Are you scared, Sasha? Don't wanna show me your lame moves?" He asked, playfully with a chuckle. "Okay, how about I organize dinner or something for you two to meet and not kill each other? I'll even cook myself. But you have to pinky promise to behave. I like him, his face is too pretty for you to rearrange it."
"Oh no no Mav, i'm not scared but if you really want me to flirt with you, i will." she leaned in closer, face inches from his as her hand slowly running up his thigh and her gaze locked with his. "I'd love to continue this but you've got a man on lock down." she pecked his cheek and sat back in her position and smiles. "Fine i'll be sure to not hit his pretty face."
