Olivia Pierce was born and raised in Chicago. She was raised by an abusive, alcoholic father.

Her mother died during childbirth and was left in the care of her father. He blamed her for her mother’s death. He began drinking as she got older. On top of that, she began looking like her mother more and more everyday. From the dark brown hair to the blue eyes. That infuriated her father because it was a reminder of what he loss. So her childhood became hell. Her father had gotten so drunk to the point she would end her days crying in bed, covered in bruises.

She never questioned anything and always did she was told. She would tread lightly and never cried in fear of him laying her hands on her again. Some nights she got lucky that she was able to sleep without the pain because he had gotten too drunk and fell asleep.

 This had continued up until the age of seven where Olivia found a bracelet that belonged to her mother and wore it. her father spotted it and the next thing she knew, she woke up in the hospital with a broken arm, black eye and a bruised lip and cops outside her door along with a woman talking to the doctor

She was told that her father had been arrested after someone who was walking past her place that night, heard the screaming. She was told that she had nothing else to fear and she was safe. Olivia broke down crying from the freedom she finally got from hell.

Olivia met her aunt for the first time at the hospital. An aunt she never knew she had but was thankful when she found out her aunt would take her in. But Liv was traumatized. She never spoke a word, panic if she did anything wrong.

Not long after the virus had taken the world by storm. She and her aunt managed to escape but along the journey. What Olivia didn't realize that her aunt had gotten infected. She realized when her aunt started not acting herself. The last of her family. It broken her completely. Before she was attacked, her aunt was shot down right before her by a soldier that had found them. Her aunt was infected and killed right in front of her eyes. She couldn't be upset that the soldier had done his job but she was grateful that they saved her.

She found a new home and a family. She couldn’t find the joy but she felt the comfort of those who raised and helped her. Olivia learned that she was best at taking care of others. So she decided to become a nurse. She liked the feeling of being able to help those in need. 

By the age of 28, her home had been overrun by infested and she had to make her escape, even if it meant she had to leave people behind. Not by choice but because they told her to escape.

-BACKGROUND-

Iris Graham was born after the outbreak on a large ranch outside of Ledbetter, Kentucky. Her dad is a survival prepper to the extreme and a wild conspiracy theorist, which made him less popular with people at the time, but a saving grace when everything fell. Even as some survivors sought refuge on the land, Iris's only close companions growing up were her father, adopted brother Sebastian, and his friend. Her mother abandoned them suddenly when Iris was just one year old over an affair, and Iris has always resented her strongly because of it.

Growing up entirely on the ranch, there wasn't much for education given that school wasn't an option and only a small handful of children lived on the farm. Seb and Iris's dad, being the way he was, did not have interest in education outside of what kept someone alive, so once she could read, that's all she did beyond her daily duties.

Early on, Iris found great enjoyment in the creativity and enlightenment that came with books. Anything that could capture her attention, spark curiosity, or entertain her wonder, she was fixated on. Whatever could take the mind somewhere else--the world before or some impossible fantasy land--she would happily allow it. It is because of all this that she is hungry for knowledge and often falls asleep thinking about schools and 'normal' things she never experienced.

Iris is fond of horses and learned how to tend to them on the ranch alongside other animals. She willingly spent early mornings and sneaky late nights in the barn or stable with them, sometimes doing nothing but talking to, reading, or napping in their kind and simple presence. That was enough to keep company.

In time, resources dwindled and danger climbed. When the ranch inhabitants relocated to the Jackson settlement, she was greatly relieved to see remnants of her old life coming back. A community farm, animals to tend and supply the people, roles for everyone that kept the place running like clockwork. Seemed like one hell of a setup--and she knew one when she saw it. Almost like she never left home. Iris gladly took on the role of Barn Manager to keep a sense of routine that she yearned for once again during their long travel.

BIO:

Julian was born but was put in foster care by child services. Later found out that his dad was alcoholic and his mother was a drug addict.

Spent most of his time alone in foster care but was drawn to cooking. he fell in love being able to create something and bring that feeling of enjoying the food. it was his get away.

When he was too old to stay in foster care, he started living on his own and worked at restaurants. Started off as a waiter and made his way up to chef.

When the virus took over the world, he had to learn to survive and brought food he knew that would last him.

He met a woman at one location and fell in love to the point he wanted to marry her. He later found out that she had been cheating on him throughout the entire relationship. it broke him. She later got infected and he had to be the one to put her down.

He never kept friends in the different location he stayed at because he didn't think there was a point of keeping people in his life when he kept leaving or they would die. He did pick up a stray that traveled with him and became his best friend. It was a German Shepard named Milo.

He would be called 'lone wolf' by people when he didn't socialize or let them get close.

he made his last destination at Jackson. Something in him told him to stay here and actually live in this place so he did. He became the cook of Jackson.

Born to Marie and Jose Hernandez in Orlando, Florida. Her father raised her to be tough and learn self-defense in case of any danger in the future.

They both died in an accident when she was 15.

She became a young parent with Diego Gonzalez at 16. She gave birth to a beautiful daughter.

They spent the time together traveling to survive until they lost a daughter.

The loss of their daughter took a huge toll on Nadia that she couldn't bare the pain anymore that she up and left without a word to Diego or anyone.

She found a home in a different location for years until it was hit by a large group of raiders then infested so she escaped to survive.

She traveled solo for long time and worked on training herself to get stronger.

Gemma was born in Buffalo, New York to Andrew and Laura Pierce. Her father was a lawyer and her mother was a doctor. They divorced when she was 10.

Her mother inspired her to help those in need. To help those have a second chance at life.

Gemma ended up going to school to become a doctor herself. She spent days indoors studying than being with friends. she was a bookworm. Her goal was to graduate soon so she could be on the field with her mother.

But that goal didn't come completely. she got to start working as a doctor but not with her mother. She died not long after she graduated due to cancer. The loss of her mother pushed her to work even harder.

While working, she met a patient who she had a strong connection with. One that she ended up marrying and had a child with.

Years later, the outbreak took the planet by storm and Gemma and her family did their best to survive.

One day, their daughter got infected. Gemma felt nothing but guilt for not being strong or fast enough to save her.

The loss of their daughter took a toll on her and her husband that he ended up leaving Gemma to suffer alone. Claiming that he couldnt look at Gemma because it reminded him of their daughter. Even blamed Gemma for not saving her.

Gemma worked day and night to help save people. Sometimes she had gone days without sleep and barely ate because of the guilt and didn't want it happening again to another family. It ended up taking a toll on her body and she collapsed.

Because of this, she took better care of herself and started working as a better doctor for those in need.
