Broken Little Pieces

Matt considered his questions, his expressions odd on Collars’ face.

Wolfy was quiet too, before he responded in a low voice.

"I have been taking advantage of that, doing the work for him. But he has been trying. Or I think he has been - it seems like he has." there's worry in his tone, Matt's thoughts going the same way as Wolfy's. He was glad Collars got some time to be whole again in his body but he was so scared of how it would hurt when they switched back.

A slight frown curled Collars borrowed face.

Wolfy ground his teeth a bit, not in anger but in thought.

Matt considered his questions, his expressions odd on Collars face.

Matt watched him check the hall, lock the door, an plop down with a sigh. A twinge of nervousness running through him over it.

He clicked the collar back into place, leaning back in the chair and looked annoyed at the floor.

A slight frown curled Collars borrowed face.

"Babbits mou’f is REALLY big!"

"I didn’t know bunnies had big mouths at all! I thought they just hat little teeny ones and nibbled everything and— and—"

"They gots really sharp teefs but Babbits a'ways rea'y careful an he nibbles on my finger sometimes when I feed 'im stuff an it TICKLES" 

Wolfy sighed hard, running his clawed hands through hair that desperately needed to be washed and trimmed.  Looking around, he got up and scampered over to the door, looking into the hall to make sure they were alone.  Before coming back, sitting next to the bed, and sighed hard once more.  With a click, he reached up and took off the collar around his neck.

Matt watched him check the hall, lock the door, an plop down with a sigh.A twinge of nervousness running through him over it.

Steve smirked at him, then gently took his arm and turned him so he was looking behind them at the rest of the playroom, where a castle complete with working drawbridge and moat. 

David’s eyes widened. Just…A playroom. David.

Steve snorted a laugh.

He didn't say anything, it might not even be Mels or she could be waiting or any number of things but till she did (he hoped she did share this amazing news with him) he was left a tightly wound core of excitment and anticipation hanging on her every word. well more then usual

“I love you too Mel.” Sam answered, voice choked and wobbling “I love both of you so much.”

Her free hand gently strokes Sam’s cheek, pulling him into a sweet kiss. “She’s ours… And she’s so beautiful…” 

"Well, you’re no longer in a little tub anymore, so don’t worry! Plus Sam’s getting Ian, so you don’t have to worry about him either!"

"No problem! It's kind of nice, because now I have someone to talk to! I would have been stuck in this tub for days!"

Melodia holds her hands out towards Peter, taking the little bundle into her arms. “She’s so fragile,” she murmurs quietly. She looks up at Sam. “And she’s ours. A little bit of you and a little bit of me…” She gently runs a finger over the baby’s face. “She has your eyes….”

"I love you too Mel." Sam answered, voice choked and wobbling "I love both of you so much."

Norman bit his tongue, this did not seem like the way to make him feel more wanted but this wasn’t the setting to bring that up.

"They aren’t my friends, I dunno anyone out there!"

There was an awkward silence, neither adult feeling this was the proper time to voice their opinions (the third being The Jon who was still powered down) on the matter and not really knowing what to do.

Poor Kenny eyes Babbit,glancing back and forth between Keys and the bunny.

Wolfy’s eyes narrowed, clamming up for a bit. Of course he heard that.  The wolfman huffed and puffed, trying to reach for any excuse he could give.
