me rollerblading into my therapist’s office this week with sunglasses and a piña colada: maurice, you’re not gonna fucking believe this,

honestly i never want to hear again about how bisexuals don’t go through any type of struggle cause i had a conversation with a dude who has a boyfriend but my bi-fi went off with him and when i asked him if he was bi or gay the damn STRUGGLE on his face to give me an answer. he didn’t say anything for a bit and then shyly said “bisexuality doesn’t exist” and when i told him it did and explained about my bisexuality and about biphobia he //cried//. We were in the middle of a bar and this grown man was in full on tears in shock yet grateful biphobia was even a thing; going on about how he was always laughed at when he explained how he was attracted to women and men and how he was ostracized from his gay friends for not being gay enough so he denies a very real part of him to feel accepted and if that’s not fucked i don’t know what is. BISEXUALS ARE LGBT. PERIOD. FIGHT ME.

I am thankful for the Native Americans who continue fight for their rights and their land and refuse to abide by the societal expectations of pretending nothing terrible happened to their ancestors on this holiday

Water protector Sophia Willansky was critically injured last night – she’s in surgery facing amputation of an arm – after being hit by what is called a “stun grenade” while distributing water bottles to her fellow protectors. “Stun Grenade” is an interesting euphemism for a concussive weapon that is not significantly less destructive to living things than a regular grenade. If you would like to see what a “stun grenade” does to a person’s body, you can google Sophia Willansky, but the images are graphic and I’m not sure she has consented to their release. Rest assured that it’s fucking horrific. This isn’t, like, “set phasers to stun”; this is “use words that sound nicer for stuff that kills people” and it’s scary and garbage.

Confirmed now that Sophia’s arm did indeed need complete amputation.

I feel like nobody ever gives Green Day credit for how brave they are. These guys have guts. They were the only artists at the AMAs who had the courage to all out drag Donald Trump, the President-elect, on national television. Everyone else either danced around the topic or made awkward jokes about it but it was only Green Day who came out, guns blazing and hands in the air, and screamed “NO TRUMP, NO KKK, NO FACIST USA!!”
