Chapter 3

A kiss is an elixir

I woke up to a starry night, it was slightly chilly but the near by camp fire was warm enough.

Wasn't I running from something? Or was I dreaming? Wait! I touched my lips the faint memory of lips against mine as I passed out was last thing I remembered.

I turned towards a dark figure hiding in the shadows, as the figure stepped closer I could recognize those amethyst eyes, but everything else was covered. A hood covered his hair and his nose and mouth where covered as well.

The stranger was dressed in black clothes, a light physique but you can obviously tell he was fit. Tall, taller than him, a nice deep voice.

-you saved me, thank you!! My name is Denki Kaminari,  what's yours?

The stranger stared at me, oddly I would typically be more shy but I wanted to know more about him.

-you shouldn't be so careless about your identity or personal information... Kaminari,

-you can call me Denki

-...what are you doing so far away from a village, your obviously not ready to venture on your own, if I wasn't nearby you would have been killed by those poachers.

-well I just left the orphanage, I'm an adult now, and I was heading to a village until...

-until you though it was a good idea to play with a baby dragon

The cloaked man said in a tired tone.

-well i... yeah i messed up, hey! Your strong right can you help me, like train me?

I was so happy I met some one this cool, the cloak man stared at me before chuckling.

-your something else, why would I want to do that?

I couldn't help but blush, him laughing was making me so happy,

-well because your a good guy, and your nice and kind...

In a flash I was pushed down, a knife against my throat,

-I'm anything but nice, or kind,  I'm also not the good guy. I've been described as mean, selfish and what I normally do is not under a good guys repertoire.

Even pinned down, a knife against my neck all I could really focus where those amethyst eyes, hypnotizing me,

-... you saved me, even though you didn't have to, you healed me... healed me with a kiss

He stared at me his eyes searching for something  in my eyes.

-...close your eyes and keep them close

I closed my eyes, I felt the knife leave my neck, my heart beating even faster, I heard some cloth movements then those lips against mine again.

After a bit I felt him move away, then after some time

-you can open your eyes

I did, the cloaked man was facing away from me

-your... so naive, I could have killed you

-you didn't

For a couple of minutes we both remained quite,

Chapter 2

Help me my HP is low

I waved good bye to the kids and lady Nemuri I turned towards the near road that will lead me to a near village, Lady Nemuri warned me about the dangers of traveling alone and to be careful of monster and strangers.

As I walked I tried to gather my thoughts, I'm in a rpg game, I kinda got use to the menu and how not all people makes a screen pop out unless they have a mission like ncp or non playable characters. Certain action would give me experience but not all, same about magika usage or speech craft those have to be used on certain circumstances for me to get any experience.

As I walked I noticed to my right a big baby looking lizard, it was so cute, big sky blue eyes and sunlight yellow scales. The cutest baby lizard i ever saw, as I approached him or her a couldn't help but pet him or her, the baby lizard chirped happily as I pet him/ her.

I then noticed little wing on their back, huh, kinda looks like a dragon....

-RAAAAAAAAAWWRRR!!!!

I turned in fear flying towards us was a big scary orange dragon, when I tell you I felt the sky rumble by the sheer force of those wings I kid you not I felt my soul leave my body.

Baby dragon chirped even louder jumping up and down excitedly,

Oh I messed up, I messed up big, I will be eaten by a dragon. I stood up and ran, there is no way for me to win. At my level I would be turned into bbq Denki. As I ran, and ran, I quickly hid behind some rocks. I peeked by the ledge and noticed a group of people heading towards the dragon, oh well good luck I'll use this time to get farther away.

As heard the war cries I froze. The baby!!!!

I turned towards them, the moment I laid eyes on the frightened baby dragon, my legs move on their own.

I cast lightning and threw my knives to create a barrier to protect the baby.

-what are you doing?!

-hey catch your own!!

I quickly  picked up baby who I secretly named Nugget, for how adorably round and yellow the dragon is. I ran trying to head towards the dragon, ignoring the calls of stop and warnings.

-okay Nugget, time to fly to mama okay? Fly

I lifted Nugget a bounce him a bit until I saw those cute wings flap, then I released Nugget, as Nugget flew towards mama dragon, the orange dragon quickly herded the baby away.

As I took some breaths to recuperate my stamina, I felt a hot strike against my back I turned and noticed the group heading towards me weapons up and hurling magika attacks.

I quickly began to run away some stray hits where making me feel faint as I stumbled i couldn't help think this is it, it's over. I could see my HP bar, its nearing the end.

I saw a dark cloaked figure run towards me, he covered me.

I couldn't hear what the person said, but after a bit he turned towards me, he looked me over he tried to hand me a potion but i was fading fast.

Chapter 1 : I'm a character in this world?

Denki's pov

"Den-"

"-ki wak-"

"Denki wake up!"

I opened my eyes, confused by the weird room, it was spacious, and plain, and had many beds mostly all empty. It didn't look like my room, where are my posters? My tv? My mess of clothes?

As I turned towards a boy who looked about 13 ish who was staring at me with an annoyed face.

"Wake up already dum dum, lady Nemuri is waiting for you, jeez I would be more excited than you if today was my last day here"

"What?"

"Denki did you forget, today you get to leave the orphanage of Midnight, did you decide where your going yet?"

I blinked a couple of times as I looked around, where am I, who is this kid, and finally didn't I just die?

Am I dreaming? As I get up, and I brushed my hair something weird happen a screen  pop up; Item, Mission, status, accomplishment. As I turned  around I noticed the kid frozen, and it felt like a weird numbness surrounding me. I swipe my hand where it said status.

I noticed the kid look at me before he started to walk towards the door. I decided to follow the kid to see what's going on. As I leave the room i notice the place had kids running around  a few adults who waved, oddly their faces where plain and features where plain, as I passed a window  I noticed my reflection,

I looked the same but different, for starters my blonde hair was a bright  yellow with a black lightning bolt, my eyes also a golden yellow instead of my plain brown. My physique was more toned, I was confused as I touched my face same eye shape and nose and chin.

My clothes a simple white shirt and brown pants,  brown leather boots.

-Denki hurry up!

-yeah!

As I turned away from my reflection we had reached a door. The boy knocked,

-Come in!

We entered and well the woman who was sitting in the office is a beautiful woman dark purple hair with sultry sky blue eyes, she wore red rimmed glasses. She was wearing a very tight vintage dress that left nothing for the imagination.

I couldn't help to blush, but the moment I met her eyes a screen popped  up

I cried as I jumped  up and down, I turned towards  lady Nemuri who was smiling,  she clapped then she handed me a small coin purse  and as I reached for the bag I was surrounded by a light my screen came out

Prologue

What's life but choices, a game with no restarts or saving or revives, we can chose to be normal, or to become a star or to seek a form of glory. If life is a game how would one chose to live their life. Our tale revolves around a young man, Kaminari Denki a 23 year old.

He works a boring job, as a cashier at a local grocery store. He graduated high school but didn't go to college, mainly because of his low grades and low income. Academically he was always a little slow in understanding certain subjects which always annoyed his parents and teachers. He was also an introvert, he gets anxious around people and hates confrontations.

Last time he had a rude customer he was close to crying. If it wasn't  because of one of his coworkers step in he was sure he would of vomited or would have started to bawl right there. That day he just got home and curled up in his bed, reflecting on what the customer said even though he tried to forget about it.

He had no real close family or friends he could hang out with. His parents kinda kicked him out as soon as he turned 18 years old. He works and goes home and play video games.

He has some online friends that chat with him but he never really reached out to them, afraid they'll reject him.

There where two who he played alot with a felt close to them but he felt that he was annoying them if he acted to friendly. Simply putting it, he was boring, plain looks and average body, skinny no real muscles and plain brownish blonde hair. No social skills and extremely shy.

One day on his walk home from work tragedy  strikes, he was hit by a truck...

Denki couldn't believe his luck he literally saw his life flashed before him, sad, lonely and he was pretty sure no one would mourn him. As he saw the last images of his life a block appeared in front of him;

Denki was confused but he still reached out and touched the box and he was surrounded by a flash of light.

Why is it that Izuku has the worst luck, he was only going to buy some groceries that his mom ask him to buy. His mom wanted to make him some katsudon for being able to visit the weekend. Izuku just wanted a quiet evening with his mom but he and his universal worst luck had him bump into a middle schooler that was a well known prankster in the neighborhood. Koro, and the kids quirk is jack in the box.

So the kid decided it would be hilarious to use his quirk on him.

Now the kid knew him and he knew Bakugou and their relationship. So he thought it would be funny to use his quirk to trap him with Bakugou. The quirk is Jack in the box, trap one individual in and another person, can be an enemy, friend, love interest, etc.

So the kid decided to place Izuku with his enemy. Who he thought was Bakugou. How could he have known that Izukus enemy was another.

So in present time Izuku was in the uncomfortable position, and trapped with Shigaraki Tomura.

Shigaraki was sitting in a crouching position and between his leg is Izuku who was kneeling foward.

Shigaraki was wearing a black hoodie his red eyes standing out in the darkness in the box.

Shigaraki-well this is quite interesting

Izuku-....

Shigaraki-well Midoriya do u know what happen?

Shigaraki asked, one hand up in a fist and the other on the floor.

Izuku was so close he could smell Shigaraki natural scent, which surprisingly smelled clean and nice, which flustered Izuku more.

Shigaraki- it seems one of us got hit with an interesting quirk, Midoriya, do u know the person whose quirk this is?

Izuku-[act dumb, cant have Shigaraki target Korochan] who's Midoriya?[ not that dumb!!!]

Shigaraki-....

Meanwhile outside the box Koro was snickering imagine the fighting duo.

***-hey! Move it extra, also you shouldn't use your quirk in public like that

Koro's eyes widen he turned to see a bored Bakugou,

Koro- Bakugou!!! What, I, oh shit!!! Aren't you Midoriya's enemy ? So why aren't u trapped with him?

Bakugou-the ****, [if I remember correctly his quirk traps people in an enclosed placed] release your quirk idiot,

Koro- yes!!

Koro then mimed opening the box and poof Izuku fell on his knees, Izuku look around expecting to face off Shigaraki but he didn't see him, he did see Koro and Kaachan.

Izuku- Kaachan!! Korochan you shouldn't use your quirk like that!!

After lecturing the middle schooler, Izuku and Bakugou began to walk away .

Bakugou- so who where u trapped with?

Izuku- ... Shigaraki...

Bakugou- only your luck, are you going to call All might?

Izuku-yeah, but let me buy some stuff and get home, at this rate mom won't let me leave the house ever again

Bakugou- I'll walk you there, auntie will definitely never let you leave the house she should invest in a chip for you so she can track you. Anyway, so ur enemy is that hand man, he actually wanted to trap you with me.

Izuku- well I don't see u as my enemy,

Bakugou-oh and what am I to you, a rival? Friend?

Izuku- no, I mean yes!! a rival [ it's too much to think about my feelings for Kaachan it's to complicated]

Shigaraki was back in his room. Game all but forgotten, he needed to find the owner of that quirk, he could trap Midoriya and a nomu in a box or All might. The possibility would be endless.

Katsuki takes a quick selfie and post it on Instagram, nothing fancy just him in his signature black top after a work out. The heading, "destroyed the gym "

Not a second past before he got a like and comment. Before it blew up.
