now that i'm home again, you know that i'm home to stay.

HE  WAS  JUST  ABOUT  FINISHED  WITH  THE  LAST  BUILDING  FOR  HIS  MAP;  the  rest  of  the  guys  were  going  to  lose  their  collective  shit  over  this  one.   He  had  been  slaving  over  it  for  months  now  ,  and  he  was  finally  about  to  deem  this  finished.   Yeah  ,  D&D  didn't  get  old  after  school.   Now  he  just  had  more  time  to  enjoy  it.   But  when  weight  in  the  form  of  his  petite  girlfriend  fall  into  his  lap  ,  and  those  slow  grinds  start  his  attention  is  far  away  from  anything  to  do  with  the  game.   Not  silly  though  ,  it's  a  way  of  life.   When  Chrissy's  not  around.

SHE DIDN'T MIND if he was busy with such things as his game. she found it charming and sometimes just enjoyed watching him create things for this world he had loved and created for. she never truly understood it -- the one time she was interested and he tried telling her the game .... she was just completely lost. but she loved the little mini figurine he had made her for it , displayed proudly on her bookshelf at her dorm.

but he had spent all morning on the map he was creating for his upcoming game -- and she had the day off from school. her studies kept her busy and away from him , as much as she hated it. nursing school was a lot harder than she expected..... but it was better than being a housewife stuck behind a loveless marriage like Jason wanted.

a small hum left her as arms wrapped around his neck slowly , legs already straddled around him and the chair he was on top of. ' I have been yours for years . ' she whispered before a small giggle left her. ' it seems you had gotten a --um.... high roll on your um.... dice... thingie ? ' God she was so hopeless about this d&d stuff.
