Dex opens the carefully wrapped package, excitement filling him. Your gifts are always the best, it’s like you read his mind.

“What is this?” Dex holds up the..gift.

“A collar. With my name on it.” You state the obvious.

Dex stays silent for a few minutes, his fingers tracing your name…

“I don’t like this color.” You burst out laughing.

“So your problem is with the color?” 

“Yes, I’m not a fan of orange.” Dex stares at the color, his face cringing.

“I’m sorry baby, I'll get you one in blue.”

“Thank you, sweetheart."

Dex knows how close you are to Frank. I mean, after all he met you through Frank.

He thought you two were dating. And apparently so did the 145.8k people liking this damn ‘edit’.

Dex only uses any social media for you, he never cared about anyone else on tiktok or instagram. He would open the app, like your new posts and get out. Simple as that.

The first video he gets when he opens tiktok is usually an old video of you, or a new one. It’s always you. 

So why was he staring at the video of you and Frank over ‘the look of love’? Sure, it’s an old one, but still it bothers him.

He learned from the caption that it's called an ‘edit’, combining videos or photos and putting a song over them. That’s stupid. It doesn’t make any sense.

And even less sense when it’s you and Frank.

He presses on the comments, bracing himself for whatever bullshit he is about to see.

Dex’s grip on the phone tightens, no they were not.

Dex doesn’t realize he’s grinding his teeth until you cup his face, “what’s wrong, Benny?”

“I don’t like how people are-” he looks down on the phone reading the comments before finding the word, “shipping you and Frank.”

“Aww, baby that was a very long time ago! And I even made a video about it back then- denied the allegations.” Your hands find his scalp, scratching it lightly to relax him.

“Are there any of us?” 

You laugh, “oh, a lot. Here.” You take his phone before pressing the search bar. Your fingers tap on the keyboard, ‘ben and yn dex edits’.

“Here, baby, you can watch all of them. You know I only love you.” You press a kiss against his lips.

“Yeah, I know.” He smiles.

That night, you grab Dex’s phone because yours is dead, you’re bored, and he is sleeping.

Upon unlocking the phone the first thing you see is an edit of you. You bite your lip, even after all those years, he still is obsessed with you.

Returning to the main page of his profile, you see a collection in his favourites labelled ‘my wife’ . It's a bunch of edits of you and both of you.

You cover your mouth with your hands, as to not let any excited noises out. 

You grab your phone from the charger and take a picture of the collection.

You upload the photo with ‘my husband has a collection of edits of me😭💕’ on it.

Frankcas: i literally make edits of you?

You press record, the angle showing you and Dex, who’s laying on the bed.

“Hey guys, this is my first ever live and we’re doing a get ready with me!”

“You are. Someone said they wanted to take a picture with me but they were too scared of you.” You take your purse from Dex’s hand.

“That’s because they were staring at you weird.” He helps you with the purse, opening it for you.

“Because they wanted to approach me.” You grab the compact brush.

“They shouldn’t have hesitated then. They seemed like a creep.” He keeps the purse open until you finish brushing the ends of your hair.

“They seemed like a fan.” You handing him the brush back.

“I can’t let a stranger get that close to you, nevermind brooding ones.” He puts it in the purse.

“Not everyone is dangerous, you know that right?” You turn your head to him.

“I am not taking any risks when it comes to you.” 

“That’s sweet, Benny. But next time let me know if someone is staring. You always assume the worst.” 

“I care about you.” He bends down and kisses you, it’s a short one since you are in public.

“You ready?” Dex knocks on the bathroom door, already dressed in a black suit. He smells of that Cologne you bought him last week.

“I don’t know.” You pout, looking at your reflection.

“What’s wrong?” Dex asks with a soft voice.

“I feel so ugly. Do I look bloated? Oh my god I look bloated, don’t I? My nose looks too big. Should I get surgery? I really should. The bags under my eyes are not covered.” You put your face in your hands, pretending to cry.

“Hey, none of that. Look at me.” He grabs your hands, pulling it away from your face gently before grabbing your chin.

“You look absolutely gorgeous. How can you say this stupid shit?” He looks offended, “how can you call yourself ugly have you looked in the mirror?” He turns you around to face the mirror, he puts his hands on your shoulders.

“You do not say mean things about yourself. How dare you say that about my pretty wife?”

His words make your heart beat faster and your face warmer.

“You don’t look bloated, your body looks perfect,” His face is close to your ears, his breath almost tickling you, “your nose doesn’t look big and doesn’t need surgery. There are no dark bags under your eyes, it's all in your head. Now I want you to look in the mirror and repeat that.” He addresses every point you made. 

You freak out at his sudden request- no demand, you didn’t mean for all of this to happen. It’s just a stupid prank.

“It’s okay de-”

“I wasn’t asking, sweetheart.”

“Alright,” you take a breath. “My body is perfect. I don’t need surgery. It’s all in my head.”

“Good job.” He turns you around before kissing you, “I love you.”

“I love you, too dex. Also I was messing with you, it's a prank.”

Frank takes a breath before opening the car door. He looks at his watch 5:55 perfect.

He rings three times before Dex opens the door.

“You’re early.” Dex says, looking Frank up and down.

“By like a minute, Jesus." Frank pushes past Dex to get it.

“Hey mama.” Frank licks his lips.

“Don’t flirt with her.” Dex says a hand slapping Frank's head.

“Ignore him. Hi Frank.” You hug him.

“So was it your idea or his?” Frank smirks, knowing damn well whose it is.

“Actually it was h-”

“Bedroom. Both of you.” Dex interrupts.

Frank puts his hands up in surrender.

Frank finds his chair in the corner of the bedroom. It’s hilarious actually. The chair doesn’t match the decor of the room at all. It's obvious Dex bought it for this occasion.

He hears chattering outside, he assumes it’s just both of you going over the rules and pulls out his phone waiting.

His eyes light up as he thinks of something.

He opens your account and scrolls down to this video.

He positions the camera higher before hitting the ‘stitch’ button.

“Y’all said I wouldn’t make it...Guess who’s in the chair now?” frank makes a peace sign and a smirk before finishing the video.
