Most of the student population at McKinley believe you have to be abnormal to have the desire of joining Glee. Consider it my failed attempt at joke; and you’re right I can do far better.

Well, I've got the charm, looks, and a voice that makes ladies moist. Plus the amazing ability to not care what people think too much. I'd love to join, but I'm just not that convinced yet.

I understand the importance and confining nature of daily routine. Just don’t catch hypothermia out there, I’m concerned for you.

I like me being healthy and pain-free way too much to ever do that. Don't worry about it, dude.

That is pretty crazy, man.  I’ve been just finding other ways to get my cardio in.

I think you might only be considered the craziest guy if you go running in slow mo like Baywatch. If you’re running-running, then maybe you’ll be able to slip under the radar. Still, I don’t know why you’re choosing that over sleep.

I would lose all of my appendages if I ever went slo-mo like Baywatch. And I like them too much, so... no.

Beyond insane. You know I’m all for staying fit, but we’ve got a gym in Lima for a reason. Why not just hop on the treadmill, at least while it’s this cold?

Running around the lake is just so ingrained in my daily schedule that it feels weird to not do it.

I know I’ve been MIA and I know what you’re all thinking. What’s with this kid and zombie apocalypses? I mean I’m not saying that I spent the week preparing for one or anything but I’m not denying it either. I’m keeping this conversation about zombies neutral (vocab word from fifth grade, holla!)

Harmony was a bit distracted by how cute this chef was, he looks like a model and cooks like some of the guys on the t.v., why does her friend never mentioned that aside form the great pizza, this place had a guy like him cooking the pizzas.  She was brought back to reality when he thanked her and she looked at Jake when Brody talked about him, “Yeah, I have to say Jake here, is the best salesman for your pizza, he promoted it as the best pizza in New York, and it was more than true”, she smiled up at Jake too and then her eyes came back to Brody. 

Jake nudged Brody in the shoulder when both he and Harmony started to compliment his salesman skills which really, they were exaggerating quite a bit. Nonetheless, it made him beam a little. Although what made him smile even more was the fact that the two of them seemed to be getting on quite well and… well. Jake couldn’t help but feel a little pleased that he’d dragged Brody out of the kitchen to meet this girl who seemed to be rather awestruck by their amazing chef. As Brody talked about dancing however, Jake felt himself get a little lost – sure, he was getting really into dancing and everything, but geez – all the technical terms flew right over his head.

"I dance alright, but I'll get up there with the best one day," Brody nonchalantly shrugged, as he wasn't the type to tell how good he was; rather, he was more of a shower. "And... please don't apologize, sweetness. It was an absolute pleasure," he said cheerily with a small grin, his hand going toward the pocket in the apron and -- oh... nevermind. It appeared as if Jake had the same thought with writing down the phone number and -- dammit.  "Until next time," he exclaimed with a quick wink toward Harmony, as Jake dragged him into the kitchen.
