When Ron faced the boggart in book three and used the ‘ridikkulus’ charm on the boggart spider, the legs just disappeared. In the third movie, the spider was given skates to make it slip repeatedly.

Honestly, what in the world is wrong with Harry? There were noticeable signs of Ginny, Molly, and Hermione being nasty to Fleur. They didn’t roll out the welcome mat for her. When Harry tried to say that Fleur was a good-looking woman, Ginny bullied him into taking it back and he bent over backwards for her rather than stand firm in that (like Ron). And yet, Harry even laughed when Ginny nicknamed Fleur ‘phlegm,’ and even ignored Ginny mock-vomiting in her cereal when Fleur entered the kitchen. What kind of hero lets people walk all over him like a doormat? But J.K. Rowling didn’t want anyone dissing Hermione, Ginny, and Molly as they were her self-inserts.

Which is another one of those reasons why it’s referred to as the crapilogue. It’s as though Harry, Hermione, and Ginny forgave Draco for his nasty deeds. Harry even ignored Hermione defending Draco over him multiple times, including the ferret incident. It was further proof that J.K. Rowling had a toxic habit of redeeming the characters who didn’t deserve it while deeming the characters who made honest mistakes as the unforgivable ones. Ron’s reaction was realistic since he knew that Draco was beyond redemption.

But Ginny, being her bratty fangirl self, just insisted (rather fiercely) that Luna show Harry over to the Ravenclaw common room. It’s irking how nobody even bothers to tell Ginny off for being such a brat and how she wasn’t the boss of anyone. But she got away with it because she was one of the author’s self-inserts, and she didn’t want anybody harping on Ginny for anything whether or not it was reasonable.

Neville’s comment to Harry about Cho throwing a tantrum over losing was out of character for him. Throwing tantrums was also out of character for Cho, as she was never the kind of person to do that and there was no proof she did. J.K. Rowling was just trying to shove all of Cho’s positive qualities onto Ginny and all of Ginny’s negative qualities onto Cho. Hermione and Ginny had been shown throwing tantrums even in the earlier books.

It was also proof that Ginny also beautified herself as much as Hermione to try (once again) to get her hero, thus ruining Neville’s night since she ignored him (and it shattered any confidence he was trying to build). The only anti-reason Hermione and Ginny were the most beautified girls at the Yule Ball was because they were J.K. Rowling’s self-inserts and she didn’t want any other girl outshining them in any way possible.

I can see Draco and Lucius jumping onboard the “Harry Handler” ship alongside Hermione and the female Weasleys. They would be grateful to Harry for bailing them out of the consequences.

Given how they got away with their crimes that worsened with Lucius bribing his way out of the consequences, it wouldn’t be a surprise that they returned to their old ways after the end of the Second Wizarding War. Canon Draco isn’t Tom Felton, and Canon Lucius isn’t Jason Isaacs.

Yes, I do! Since Dumbledore had Harry’s key with him somehow, I wouldn’t be surprised that the ole coot gave the key to Snape. Then when Harry’s time at Hogwarts got closer, Snape returned the key to Albus so he could give it to Hagrid.

I think McGonagall did this just to falsely get Harry’s hopes up for a good life. She knew that the Dursleys were abusive and were naturally bound to double-cross Harry, and yet she set him up to get his hopes crushed. Like Dumbledore, McGonagall was content to just keep Harry miserable in stupefying security under the pretense that it isn’t safe for him to be in Hogsmeade with an alleged killer on the loose. Dumbledore and McGonagall clearly ignored the fact that there was patrolling going on, and that a fugitive would try to keep as low a profile as possible.

This was just one of J.K. Rowling’s many ‘wonderful’ moments in trying to shove Ginny down readers’ throats as Harry’s ‘it’ girl. Ginny was the one who called Luna ‘Loony,’ as shown in the fifth book. Ginny only said that Luna was alright because her hero was nearby, not because she cared about Luna. Just because the narration claims that Ginny defended Luna’s honor in book six by having Luna say so doesn’t mean that it’s true. Ginny was one of J.K. Rowling’s self-inserts since she gets away with nasty stunts as much as Hermione does. Ginny had been a spoiled brat and fangirl of the Boy-Who-Lived since the first book and even long before meeting Harry. Ginny was always looking for popularity and enjoyed being in the spotlight, something she wouldn’t have gotten if she really was friends with Luna because of Luna being thought of as weird. An angry Boy-Who-Lived was always Ginny’s worst nightmare and fear.

Yes, given Harry’s extreme doormat-like behavior. I wouldn’t be surprised that Hermione told him that Draco wasn’t all that bad even though she had to have heard about Lucius bribing his and his son’s ways out of the consequences of their crimes as death eaters. Heck, Molly and Ginny secretly told Harry about ‘how wonderful’ Lucius and Draco are with Harry mindlessly taking their word for it.

There’s no way naming his kids was Harry’s doing. Ginny had to have been the one to do that on the assumption that Harry would appreciate it. But Ginny has always been terrible at giving names, and suggesting the name of the defense group to be Dumbledore’s Army in book 5 is proof. Somehow, she was allowed to name Ron’s owl Pigwidgeon when it wasn’t even hers, and the owl doesn’t respond to any other name given. Ginny was, as usual, ignoring the real Harry in favor of her ideal Harry known as the Boy-Who-Lived.
