Barack.
I want to thank Barack Hussein Obama. I remember 8 years ago I was on Time Square when he won the election. It was amazing.. The energy, the enthusiasm, the hope was actually visible. I was so proud. I thought things would change because we had a Democrat in office and he looked like me.. The First family ..wow. Michelle Obama is an inspiration to every lil girl of color throughout the 🌎. The 2 daughters, exemplary. Probably the Best 1st family in modern times. The more time passed thou I realized he was just another politician. He has been better than all the Presidents I have lived under but, that's not saying much. I wanted more from him. I wanted a leader that would use his pulpit to call out the frauds, special interests, the White Supremacy. It didn't happen. He pushed AFRICON, which continues colonization of Africa. He didn't push for a single payer Healthcare system, when he had a super majority in the House & Senate. He pushed for the TPP(like the Clinton's) Said nothing while people where getting maimed at Standing Rock. Most of the jobs created in the last 8 years have been part time employment. The icing on the cake was this years election. He sided with a candidate before the primaries were even over. We have proof of collusion between the White House, MSM & the DNC to elect one candidate over the other. That is not Democratic. Those actions are actually against the DNC charter, section 4 article 5( look it up). Voter suppression (Crosscheck, again look it up) Closed primaries. Then when the Republicans use the same tactics we want to cry foul & blame everyone but the reflection in the mirror. He has done a lot off good things. But I expect a Democrat to work for the poor, the working class. I wish he wouldn't taken money from Big Pharma, from Wall Street, from Fossil Fuel Companies, but he did. Maybe we would have had a Single Payer Healthcare system, we would have been on a path to clean energy & Glass Steagall would have been reinstated. I thank him because I learned that the difference in the parties is minimal. They are both under the Goldman Umbrella. They work to keep people disenfranchised. We have to work harder to learn & hold our elected officials accountable. My new slogan in Fuck a Party, give me policy...
