if i look back, i’m lost —  i’ll follow the path towards discovery

i've been sleeping for so long — but i'm finally awake                                                                  ( you've opened up my eyes )

since when did people grow afraid of color ? ( does anybody know what we're running from? )

brother, we were born with wings — we are meant for greater things.

i was a wild and lively child ( and those sparkles in my eyes still remain )

since when did people grow afraid of dreaming ?                                   ( since when did happiness become commodified ? )

there's no serenity in living without feeling ( without courage, we'll always live a lie )

those searching for simplicity will never write a page of history

i'll be stuck in this dream ( can't wake up, can't get free )

i don't know how i ended up here ( it's so hard to believe )

will i be on my way ( or will i have to stay ? ) but it's always a matter of time…

( destiny… ) — i'm not sure what that means
