It was Shouto who chose to end the silence with a hopeless ‘ YOU DON’T HAVE TO STAY WITH ME ’, and truthfully, Yukako wished it fell on deaf ears as she made it seem. Half - lidded hues widen and lips part slightly, a softly dumbfounded look drawn across breathtaking visage. Utterly speechless Yukako was at Shouto’s delivery / demeanor, that failed to stray from the lying area. Lithesome digits slowly unfurled, tentatively advancing up Shouto’s arms until they reached his shoulders. Lightly squeezed / caressed. “ Shouto… ” A breathless plea for him to retract his statement, to tell her that what he was suggesting was a common jest ( that she would quickly reply with a worried ‘ that wasn’t funny! ’ ).
Pressure applied and the strength was mustered to roll from beneath him to turn the tables, now, it was Yukako who hovered over / straddled atop him, casting a shadow to the eyes that, in spite of their oddity, have grown to be dear to her heart. THEY LOOK SO SAD… They look so sad, and yet, they’re still able to disturb her universe. A purse of full lips was to be seen, dejection present. Palms still stationed themselves on his shoulders, one chose to abandon post in favor of grabbing his wrist, guiding his open hand to her heart.
“ Shouto… ” Yukako called his name again, this time a small burst of warm vigor claiming soft tonality, “ Can you feel it?… My beating heart?… I’ve never quite learned to quiet it, but… ” Cue the moment - lasting display of a small quirk of lips, disrupted only by the continuation of speech. “ I AM MEANT FOR YOU, and you are meant for me. Do you understand?… Our hearts are not made to live far apart… ” Somewhere along the lines, each soft inhale / exhale began to bring along feeling of tearful dread. Violets glazed over with that exact sadness, tears threatening to flow. “ Right here is where I want to be… anywhere else, and I wouldn’t be happy, Shouto… Do you understand? ”

` WHAT THE fuck is that supposed to mean ? ‘ eyes wide in surprise , mouth slightly agape . there’s an icy / cold / freezing feeling inside him . the fire is gone , and his stomach almost drops . cold hands reach up to hold her shoulders , looking down into her emotional violet eyes . squeezing , holding , longing to be with her always . it feels like ice is stabbing him from the inside . teeth clenched , he notices he could be squeezing too intensely . quickly removing his hands in fear / sadness , the silence between the two of them is tense , hurting him .

anyway some shit about shoto, i'm portraying him as mean/distant. not this uwu soft boy he's so lonely n soft aa >.< nah.
shoto is a traumatized child, he's angry and has a fire burning in his stomach. he hates endeavor, and doesn't even visit him. he's is a mama's boy, and loves cats. but he can be hostile, and would insult any hero to their face if he wanted. i'm not saying that he's like bakugou, i'm saying he can be worse sometimes but he would rarely raise his voice, maybe an insult here or there or cold glares. he is distant, and sometimes people wouldn't want to approach him. he does plan on becoming a hero, he's confident in himself. but he does have anxiety + depression. i doubt i'll do much shipping unless we talk a lot, but otherwise i don't think he'd be able to be as supportive. he may be too busy or feel as if he's useless. shoto todoroki isn't a soft uwu boy and deku is his loving bf, shoto todoroki is a cold, ruthless and angry kid who never got to experience childhood.
