In ep 65 of the anime (early bount arc), Ichigo uses the phone landline at the shoten. Urahara shows him he can record the conversation on a cassette and replay it. He also says that no human should be able to call that phone, so I'm assuming he's using it to communicate with soul society ? The bount arc isn't canon but the implication is interesting, the shoten probably coordinates some of its orders/stock procurement through the phone and every conversation is preciously recorded for...whatever reason Urahara would need to do that :'D

Last movie I watched was Backrooms, with my best friend and her sister. I'm not a big fan of horror but it was an interesting watch ? Something that stuck with me was the attention to off-putting visual and sound details, really contributed to the liminal space/uncanny feel of the backrooms

5. What's your drink of choice? (Coffee/tea order, alcohol of choice, pop, etc)

Oh boy I love this question, hmmm I think I don't have just one drink of choice it really depends on the time of day. Usually I go for coffee with milk or black tea (earl grey) in the morning, and mint tea later in the day if I'm sitting with family. I go through phases sometimes where I'm really into a certain type of tea, or I want to have a different flavor each time :'D

7. What's your favorite way to travel? Is there a mode of travel you haven't done that you want to experience?

I love trains or tramways because I get to sit down and just space out/listen to music while dayreaming. I think I'd like to try hot air balloon travel maybe ? just for the views lol

not to be workbrained but i like coming up with medical headcanons for soul society

-most of the medicine is supplied through the 12th division due to their research and 12 and 4th have their own partnership

-healing kido only accelerates natural regeneration and can’t regenerate limbs and stuff bc thats full on organic reconstruction (hence why yamamoto didnt get his arm healed)

-majority of 4th division are more specialized in stuff like paramedic/nurses they can deal with certain emergencies but the higher seats like 4th seat and up can act more like doctors and can do more specialized procedures such as surgery (if they choose to specialize in something in particular). unohana is really good at surgery

-soul society’s pharmacy is all over the place and different members have different perspectives bc some are like yeah blood letting and herbs and shit and others are using drugs that are not nearly as common anymore like ace inhibitors and digoxin. some are just straight up using medications solely invented by the 12th an some wacky equipment. very hot debate discourse

-if ppl have chronic conditions that need to be regulated by mediations (ex: diabetes, psych disorders, etc) they have to get their prescriptions and refills through 4th division

#really love these kind of hcs thank you op #bleach #they are shown to have smth akin to triage/ER in the anime but I wonder if they have other types of wards for specific things #also wonder if they have a labor and delivery unit since i dont ? think it's common for shinigami to have children #and the noble families probably give birth at home
