Intro Post 🌼

Hi! I'm Saionji Ukyo, one of the five generals of Kingdom of Science.

I like bread, am skilled with a bow and arrow, good at engrisu (english) and since I'm a sonar operator, you can expect I have a fairly decent range of hearing.

I decided to get a tumblr account mainly to satisfy Senkuu ( @senku-ishigami-official ) who was insistent on it. In this stone world, I don't know why tumblr was the first thing my friend had brought back, but like with many other things that happen here, I just decided not to question it. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!

Depends if we’re talking actual physics or comic book physics.

If it's an alternate dimension with measurable rules, then in theory? Sure! Anything that can interact with our universe can, eventually, be studied and exploited.

Now, if it's the kind of dimension that exists solely because the plot said so? Then you're asking me to beat bad writing with science, and that's a way taller order than the former.

Either way though, I’d probably find a way.

Kukuku! Happy Fourth of July to you Americans.

Byakuya used to drag me out to Summer festivals to watch the fireworks every year. I'd spend half the time looking up, and the other half explaining why the colors were different. Strontium salts for red, barium for green, copper compounds for blue, sodium for yellow. The "boom" is just rapidly expanding gas after the black powder ignites.

Anywho, enjoy blowing up carefully engineered mixtures of oxidizers and metal salts. Just don't blow your fingers off in the process.

How is Anime Expo® treating our scientist?

Kukuku… Anime Expo was a mission success.

I’ve made contact with thousands of individuals, most of which were surprisingly compliant for a mass human gathering. A few were even running around in my exact outfit. Not bad. Mimicry is the highest form of acknowledgment, after all.

…Though the environmental conditions are trash. Air quality? Questionable. Crowd density? Statistically absurd. Smell profile? Let’s just say humanity is still in the pre-science hygiene orientated phase.

Still, 10 billion percent worth it.

Between: Kohaku, Ryusui and Tsukasa. Who of them you would trust more with your life?.

With my life? All three.

Kohaku would drag me out of danger, Tsukasa would bulldoze through it, and Ryusui would somehow have an escape plan involving a boat or plane.

//OOC: Maybe this is a little too sappy for a roleplay blog, but with Dr. Stone coming to an end, I wanted to say thank you.

Truthfully, I made this blog to mess with Jupiter and see if she could figure out who I was. She did. Very quickly, actually.

But along the way, this blog became a lot more than that. Answering asks helped me learn new things, revisit old science topics, and interact with a niche part of the Dr. Stone community I probably never would've met otherwise. Not to mention, I've made a lot of genuinely good friends through this blog.

So, thank you for letting me be your Senku. Even with the anime ending, I hope you'll keep sending asks that I'll inevitably procrastinate on answering.
