It think that anyone who pays taxes has the right to know that the money they pay is being used wisely, not just those who pay the most.

It simply seemed otherwise fairly straightforward to me — a reckless boy did something distasteful, everyone besides him is issuing apologies, and the journalists are questioning public spending. The only unanswered question is the reason for the FBI’s presence — I’d hardly feel it worth their time to come all the way out to Port Henry simply to arrest one disreputable firefighter.
