Yes, tonight the 2021 Red Sox team that those NESN fucks said was going to be trash all year have swept the Yankees at Yankee stadium for the first time in ten years, thanks for asking.Â
No doubt that was incredibly exciting for you.

Nah, no perfect angels here. Only that if you buy a building in Port Henry, should have known what youâre signing up for. Canât get all twisted up over a couple noise complaints or a hole punched in the wall. Shit happens.Â
Hm, yes, it does. The occasional noise complaint I might be willing to overlook myself, damaging my property would be another matter though. Can we assume that this isnât a purely hypothetical situation that youâre describing?
Are all landlords in Port Henry shitty? Every little thing gets them bent out of shape. Do they realize where they own apartments? If the cops havenât been called to the building once a week I donât believe it.
I donât suppose youâre trying to tell me that all of the tenants of Port Henry are ideal to have to interact with, and never cause any of their landlords a problem. I often find that we get what we deserve in life.
aidenweberâ:
Ah. I see. So if it were the Royale, then youâd prefer me to let the vandals do their work?Â
Oh, of course not. Not doubt much like Chief Falco right now, if it were the Royale then I would merely be primed prevent a recurrence.
aidenweberâ:
Everything was dealt with by the books, maâam. They knew the risks and now theyâre facing the consequences.Â
No doubt they will be suitably deterred from committing such serious crimes again in the future.

Caught someone trying to sneak around and vandalize the firehouse 13 building during patrol. Teenagers. The moment thereâs the tiniest bit of unrest, itâs off to destroy city property.Â
I donât doubt that you will have dealt with the perpetrators efficiently, Officer.
naomireznickâ:
Yeah, not gonna lie, that little tidbit kindaâ Weird. Iâm sure theyâre doing something, considering how that blonde one was analyzing all of us. Just donât know if weâre ever gonna find that out unless we step over their invisible lines.Â
Hm, profiling the cityâs doctors doesnât seem like a much greater step in the direction of something productive â unless theyâre here investigating some kind of medical malpractice, I suppose. Doesnât exactly seem like a likely case but, there we go.
naomireznickâ:
Fair point, fair pointâ But wouldnât knowing details about an ongoing investigation impede it?Â
As far as I can see there isnât anything much of an investigation going on â which is exactly my point â all they seem to have achieved is arresting a man who was dating one of their girlfriends.
naomireznickâ:
I think thatâs falling too much into the trap of âI have money, so you have to do what I say.â
It think that anyone who pays taxes has the right to know that the money they pay is being used wisely, not just those who pay the most.
naomireznickâ:
I donât exactly know FBI protocol, but do they have tell civilians what theyâre doing or..? I mean, itâd be nice, butâ yeah.
Our taxes pay their wages â I merely think that it would be nice to know that theyâre actually making some kind of productive use of their time.

Iâve just been figuring that if we donât know that must mean itâs not our business. And I like keeping it that way.

As do I, but what I donât like is just sitting around and waiting to find out whether or not thatâs actually the case.

Finding out what theyâre actually here for is a work in progress â both Agent Cross and Agent Griffin are⌠tough nuts to crack. But I might know what Agent Cross has been up to since sheâs been here. Before that firefighter got arrested, there was a big public display of masculine âdonât touch my womanâ aggression in the middle of the street. Apparently the new girl, Whitney, is at the center of this whole thing. Cross almost decked him during a yellow light. So if you put the pieces together⌠Whitneyâs the victim, Cross is the beloved FBI hero, and Matthew Baleman is Port Henryâs newly minted notorious predator. I think the way to Cross is through Elle Woods, Jr. â Iâll do my best to become Whitneyâs new best friend.
[ PRIVATE ]
Yes, good. I suppose she might not be a bad contact to have regardless of her association with the agent. Well, if sheâs any good at her job that is, which remains to be seen. I suppose that it does no harm either way though.
joeyfieldsâ:
I honestly know nothing about the economy, I flunked out of college that semester.
Yes, well, perhaps leave such questions to those who didnât then, hm?
aemiliablackâ:
Well thatâs certainly one thing to take from that article. Thatâs quite a focus.
Miss Black, I assure you, that was not the only thing that I took from the article. It simply seemed otherwise fairly straightforward to me â a reckless boy did something distasteful, everyone besides him is issuing apologies, and the journalists are questioning public spending. The only unanswered question is the reason for the FBIâs presence â Iâd hardly feel it worth their time to come all the way out to Port Henry simply to arrest one disreputable firefighter.
haven-caldwellâ:
I think youâre absolutely right, Miss Devereaux. The lack of transparency from our countryâs federal agents is concerning at best and potentially dangerous at worst. Itâs very unsettling to not know their intentions, yet somehow, one of the agents seems to be at the center of the issue.Â
[ PRIVATE ]
Mm, yes, Cross. Have you made any progress on either front with discovering anything from the pair of them about what theyâre actually up to here? Iâm assuming not considering weâre having this conversation and not another one but... well, I presume that you at least know the details as to how Agent Cross is involved in this?

joeyfieldsâ:
At least theyâre buying things and going out. Isnât that good for the economy?
Unless theyâre getting paid far too much money, I canât exactly imagine that a couple of agents alone are going to kick-start the economy.
And yet still no one questioning what the FBI are actually doing in the city. Youâd have thought that by now theyâd either have announced their intentions or actually done something.
