Bright light, dark room

Finally home. Such a weird feeling after two amazing concerts. And such different experiences.

I got so many mementos from the Ghost concert. Two picks, a setlist, mummy bucks, an interview with Vanessa Warwick, a picture on their instagram... yet, I barely have any memories from the actual concert? The phone ban made me live in the moment a bit too much and while I know it felt amazing at the time to just go completely bonkers without worrying about capturing anything in pictures and vídeos, now I don't have these to trigger the memories of what happened, it's all just a blur.

And with Hurts I don't have anything. Nothing. Nada. Damn you Tobias Forge, I got used to your methods and rarely took out my phone to capture anything. No setlist, no rose, no picture with Theo (yall look really cute and I'm really happy for you but WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME TO STAAAAY? It didn't even cross my mind that he might come out to say hi to us, my brain really wasn't working properly that day). But anyway, I remember the concert vividly. I remember the smile on Theo's face and how amazing he sounded, srly, how GREAT he sounded? And I loved meeting everyone, especially @dontthinkwedontnoticeyou and @anothersecondinthesunshine, I wish I wasn't so anxious and awkward and we got to talk more but I love you and you two are part of a very special time in my life and I'm glad we finally met each other 🩶
