(@briggsmar-bantering) Obsidian: Rustling trees gave way as a peculiar looking Yveltal in some odd attire trotted into the camp with his attention directed towards a little map he was holding. "Alright this should be the spo-"He paused and stared at the human the moment he looked up, it seems like he took a wrong turn. "Well isn't this a strange situation we find ourselves in eheh... so! What brings you here fellow green haired hu-hu-hum-aaaachooo! Ugh... let me guess. Fairy type trainer?"
Alyse quickly shut up and simply stared at the Yveltal for a moment, taking that time to process everything he'd said.
"U-um yeah!"
An awkward silence.
Next to Alyse, Leylo took a battle-ready stance and bared his fangs. This was the second towering, powerful pokemon that'd come across their camp. Perhaps it wasn't as secluded as they thought it was.
Alyse continued, "We're just getting our bearings together before theeeee Magi Event?..."
Seeing as it was all conversation so far, Leylo pitched in with a question of his own, his voice tinged with a weary sense of demand.
"What are you looking for?"
@briggsmar-bantering
The last thing the bird wanted was to get into a scuffle, let alone with a fairy type. Seeing how he wandered into the camp-goer's personal space, defusing the situation was probably the best thing to do. He took a couple steps back to get away from inhaling any more pesky fairy dust, sniffling like he was about to seeze up a storm again "ugh... sorry, allergies. So you're here the Magi event you say? So am I, moreso on assignment than for pleasure. See it was my turn for guard duty and I was supposed to follow this map here." He pointed over to the little marked up map he was holding, but as he gave it a second look his eyes furrowed onto the flimsy piece of paper. "Though now that I look at it again.. oh. oh this is funny. hah I appear to have had it upside-down this whole time. Ah this is quite embarassing, I should have known better haha. You know how these things are, just so hard to read when they're so small. I'll go ahead and get out of your hair heheh [good one]"
Neither the human nor grimmsnarl spoke as Obsidian noticed his little mistake, simply watching as they took in his words. Even with the lighter tone and extra space, the duo had a guarded air around them.
Alyse recalled doing the same exact thing with their map during the last Magi Retreat. But it didn't seem appropriate to bring up such trivial things to a deity. They weren't exactly on the same level.
At this point Leylo no longer bared his fangs, but he his posture didn't relax as he vocalized.

Obsidian perked up with a bright smile in response to the Grimmsnarl's question. "Why you could say I'm quite familiar with the Reyes and Montes families in particular. On a first name basis no less.~ To the point of your question, I'm merely a third party just making sure everyone's night goes well. Personally I'm not one for public festivities given.. well... (he gestures to himself) this, obviously so I opted for a more 'sit back and make sure nobody starts a bloody war' sort of role."
He lowered his head and squinted, looking very inquisitive as he asked his question. "Now then I don't suppose your merry band here would dare to try anything like that hmm?" The bird made it a point to look very obvious in his expression that he wasn't being very serious and was just trying to come off as light-hearted, though he hadn't considered the wide power dynamic going on between him and the two mortals he was talking to...
