subastianâ:
Ever since the two of them had finally made things official, it seemed like there were more and more reasons for Sebastian to stay close and keep things as stress-free for Hunter as possible. He didnât sleep in his own room anymore, or go back to his own place after class. He went to Hunterâs, and he slept at Hunterâs. When the Dominant came home, Sebastian was in the kitchen, prepared because the other man was a very patterned person and ran on a schedule. Hearing his name called, he came within a second, the perfect coffee for Hunter with a small snack on a tray. Usually, when he approached like this in Hunterâs suite, heâd climb into his lap and affectionately drape across him, but something about his body language made him sink to his knees in front of the other man instead as to not put pressure on his hip, tray presented on Hunterâs knees. âIâm here. Didnât you hear? I have a whole drawer here. And a toothbrush. Canât live without those,â he teased.
The relationship with Sebastian was everything Hunter could have ever imagined, had he ever imagined a relationship for himself. Each day he awoke feeling both grateful and shocked that Sebastian was still there, curled next to him, one of the few constants the Dominant felt he could count on. The shift had happened slowly it seemed, but looking back it seemed to happen all at once. Regardless, Hunter felt like he had found the happiness he had heard existed, though hadnât ever quite found. Even so, none of that knowledge stopped the litany of self-depreciating thoughts Hunter found himself pushing towards the back of his mind. Hearing Sebastian enter brought the Dominant to attention, his eyes snapping open as his neck righted his head. Being seen as weak was something Hunter detested the thought of, but more so and especially when it came to Sebastian. When his submissive lowered himself to his knees, a flash of appreciation sparked behind Hunterâs eyes. âI recall hearing something of the sort, yes.â He replied, his tone as even-keel as ever. His eyes fell to the tray before coming back to Sebastianâs face. âThank you, Sebastian. You know me well.â As much as he wanted to dig into what had been prepared, he couldnât bring himself to shift from his position quite yet. âHow were your classes?â Hunter questioned.Â
