In which me and a few friends from the LoA server thought of a patron swap AU and i went sicko mode on Jericho and Marius and how the trade would affect their personalities =w= <33

Jericho is now a bit more refined, dressed to impress his dearest Duchess whom he's deeply "in love" with, but in fact is the Duchess and her ability to bring the worst out of people that has made him obsessed and possessive over her, along with pushing his envy to a near breaking point, making him a lot more snappy or straight up hostile to anyone that dares to get between him and his beloved. It's only on occasions when the scarecrow is allowed to be his true self, the homely friendly creature he was originally made to be, that people can tell there's something deeply wrong with his devotion.

Then there's Marius, a soldier who nearly fell in battle but was found by a peculiar crow who spoke with the voice of a grand general, promising the strength to save his kingdom. In this swap Marius is a lot more stoic, taught or forced to be cold and calculated like his fiendish companion, and seemingly driven only by the need to accomplish his given goal. Yet the dark hold of his demonic patron can't fully hide the light within Marius, that shines through in moments of clarity, compassion, and care for his new friends.

Life got me real busy so i haven't had the chance to draw more of this, but oouugh i love it so much 💞💕💓 i just love me an angry Jeri with metal chompers and a Marius that does not fucking care 😂

I’m really envying the people alive at the time Jekyll and hyde was released…I would have so many questions for RLS. Thinking in particular about the relationship Jekyll has with religion and with his father.,.IDK! I’ll yap about that elsewhere.
