oml guys, I really struggled to draw this one xd, the poses, the colors, and the line art were a real challenge, but i think it turned out nice!

The gang in their younger days! Probably in their late 20s or 30s, idk. I wanted to draw the three of them together since forever, but i didn't have my Lanyon design yet, but finally!!! THEM!

It was hard to design him 😩; I feel like he was one of the characters I had the hardest time picturing while reading the book, so after a lot of trial and error, I finally came up with something I was happy with. I'll leave more details under the cut if any of you are interested

Yei first drawing with color!

I'm trying to go back to the way I used to render my drawings. Now my drawings are either black and white sketches or full renders, and I wanted to find a way to get good results without spending ages rendering.

I planned for Enfield to look younger than the rest of the cast. Maybe I was influenced by his design in MazM. He is around 35 years old and 175 cm tall (or 5'7 ft).

Any Enfield lovers out there?

I think he's neat, I've read the first chapter of J&H so many times that I think it appears more often in the story.

My design for Hyde was always inspired by the uncanny valley effect. I think it's a concept that fits very well with his description in the book.

In older sketches, I used to draw that 'uncannyness' more subtly, but then I pushed it towards a more plain creepy dude.

He is smiling almost all the time, and he does so without any embarrassment. For this reason, his eyes are often squinted. This looks quite strange, as his eyelids are longer than his eyes, so it seems as if his gaze is slightly sunken into his own skin.

Jekyll may have a very pronounced resting bitch face, but he usually tries to soften his expressions when he is with other people.

His smile is naturally very friendly, and when he was young he used to smile quite often. That trait diminished as he got older, especially around the time he began developing the formula.
