Adrian narrowed his eyes involuntary as he listened to the persons story about God knows what, he stopped paying attention minutes ago. He was catching a few words thrown around but he was mostly just looking past them at a walker approaching in the distance. It still had a minutes or so, maybe storytime would be done by then. āCut the shit, I donāt care about Aunt Theresaās driving lessons or whatever shit you were talking. I asked about the gas stations, are all of them bone dry? Simple question. Simple answer. Try and keep it short.ā
āāAunt Theresa --- ? No, Aunt Tammy; donāt tell someone to cut the shit, if you donāt even know the shit you want them to cut,āā in reality, SHE hadnāt even known what she was going on about. She had known what he asked (Ā somethinā about gas stations; she hadn't exactly been listening one hundred percent either) but had taken a different route with the conversation -- Ā purposely. it was a fact that Briar wasn't particularly fond of making friends; she could usually sift out how to deal with someone (or how to make them go away), in this instance she had gone with theĀ āannoy and they might go awayāĀ tactic; which hadn't resulted in the way she had planned but....āāDoes it look like I own a fucking car?Ā do you see my Porsche around here? simple question, simple answer -- Ā try and keep it short.āā

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā for all that huan flaunts maturity, she sure is into a good gossiping session; she doesnāt get them often, mostly as a result of who she surrounds herself with ( people too nice to want the stories ), but other times as a product of how secretive she tends to be. no one asks her to keep their secrets, but she does. a thing holds more weight when itās not quite known to the public. huan can appreciate briar though, because as observant as huan might be, she doesnāt catch half these things and the way briar retells the stories is something to be loved. despite her face being buried in her book, sheās listening, quite obvious by the laughter that bubbles up and out; it figures that something so petty is floating around while there are much bigger things going on. ignorance is bliss, huan supposes. she lives it, usually late at night tucked away in the kitchen with eden; ignoring things is simple when youāve got better things to focus on ( a twisted version of optimism if nothing else ). but then thereās the million dollar question, the one huan has thought on since the murder happened: what does she think of it? she thinks she should be scared, she should be more careful about her relationship, but then she realizes who she is and that no one is dumb enough to come at her āā confidence and reckless optimism is a dangerously naive combination.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā doesnāt throw it off at all, ā huanās eyes havenāt lifted from the pages of her book, though thereāsĀ a moments pause in her reading to make room for speaking fluently.Ā ā they hate muggles, mudblood lover was wrote on the wallĀ āā motive is still the same.Ā ā dismissive is maybe one way to describe the response; sheād love nothing more than to talk about this, but thereās not much to say that she hasnāt already.Ā ā i mean, come onĀ ā a pureblood loving a muggleborn? what a ridiculous and insulting concept. ā sarcasm is dripping from her tone, and were it not for wanting to keep her place huan would have rolled her eyes.Ā ā murder was the only logical solution, right?Ā ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā a scoff in response; the whole thing was stupid. the hatred towards muggle and half bloods had been growing way past the few murders that had taken place over the past few monthsĀ -- Ā even right back to when briar first arrived at hogwarts (which simply proved, that eighteen years ago, when Harry-P ābrokeā the muggle prejudice, it DIDN'T stop it from continuing into the ānew eraā, )Ā she could remember the groups; like little sorority's from those stupid chic flick movies. the purebloods whom placed themselves on their higher horses, and the purebloods who simply tolerated everyone. moral of the story, purebloods were the problem ---- if you really thought about it, take them out of the equation and everyone would happily get along (and stay alive, apparently) but then if you took away the less purer bloods, the purebloodās would get along just fine too, but that was a side of the argument that briar REFUSED to acknowledge.Ā
āāThe purebloodās thought they were safe though,āā they had been, they weren't now.Ā āāweāre still considered an error in their perfect system, that stillĀ hasn'tĀ changed.Ā apparently weāre all a disgrace to the wizarding race, who would have known?āā her tone mimics huans, sarcastic; mocking -- Ā but deeper down beneath the surface of a steel persona you can see the worry. briar didn't worry, briar didn't care -- Ā Ā she wasn't SUPPOSED to care. but she did. she could know the murderer, she could be friends with whoever it wasĀ -- Ā she liked to let her guard down, to not worry; to be like she was with huan and theo, but what if she was the next person with they blood splattered across the halls? or found dead in the forbidden forest?Ā she didn't want to be that person. āāatleast, we only have to actually survive half a year,āā a pause; and she finally begins to focus on her book; the thought of it all, the thought of viewing herself as vulnerable, to be scared -- Ā was a topic that briar wanted to avoid, and sheād go as far as actually studying to do so. āāwhatever. I've heard the school is questioning people already -- Ā theyāve gottaā catchĀ āem sooner or later.āāĀ
āā----Ā Nah,Ā Ā it was the girl that sorta resembles a creepy girl scout?Ā stepped too close to those funky freaky lookinā fuzzy things in Creature Feature classĀ -- Ā it just had aĀ nibble;Ā rumor has it she lost four of her fingers or somethinā,āā RUMORS; was exactly what the school of witchcraft and wizardry was built on -- bullshit. Briar had also heard most of the Slytherin house were secretly a bunch of lycans,Ā (Ā Briarās bet on there being atleast three hidden werewolves in the school STILL stood, but unfortunately not in her house,) she had also heard that theĀ murderer was Voldermortās long lost child, or hell; maybe it ACTUALLY was him back from the dead -- Ā rumors were what kept this place alive; as stupid as some of them were.Ā And gossip was what attracted Briar -- Ā like moth to a flame.Ā
She collected it, storing it; future blackmail, sheād say -- Ā but Briar was too lazy to actually threaten people with things like that,Ā ( she was more straightforward. TheĀ āshut up, or Iām going to break your nose,ā technique was much quicker.)Ā The only time she actually had use for what she had gathered was during these study session with Huan; although study sessions was a term that was used loosely;Ā the times she ACTUALLY glanced at her book were occasional, she wrote a few lines at the max but overall, she just liked the serenity of it -- Ā Ā even now she had barely looked at her open book sitting in front of her -- Ā Ā her eyes settled out the window rather than the gibberish that was written against the pages in front of her;Ā cue dramatic staring into the distance.Ā āāSo this killer, huh?āā pencil twirling between the fingers and across her knuckles, Briar couldn't help but bring up the topic; the talk of the school; how could she not?Ā āāWhat do you think about the whole thing now? I mean, they slaughtered a pureblood; sortaā throws the whole situation out of whack, donātĀ āya think?āā
'āDid you hear? Did you hear about the girl?Ā Nathalie Versini,They found her; DEAD, up in theĀ --āāĀ
It was all the halls were filled with; Briar had woken (Ā late, mind you, because actuallyĀ waking up early to go to classes like a proper student was for the weak individuals.) to find news of another murder travelling the school; this time, pureblooded -- Ā the ones who thought they were SAFE. Briar would have laughed at their attempts to put themselves in such a categoryĀ -- Ā to put themselves higher up on the pedestal than half and muggle bloods, if it wasn't for, yāknow, the gloomy setting after the death AND the fact the girl was from her own house.Ā āācareful --Ā āā there was mockery to her tone,Ā mockery towards the presence she had felt approaching her;Ā she had left the halls, in hopes to escape the chatter; to escape the panic.Ā she wasn't upset, she wasn't grieving the loss of another poor unfamiliar soul -- Ā she was angry, and deep down, she was terrified too.Ā āāIāve heard merely breathing in someoneās elseās direction will get you killed nowadays;Ā and I personally donāt want my blood fingerpainted across the halls -- Ā horrifying.āā
--Ā Those cunning folk use any means, to achieve their ends. Ā (Ā ā” Ā Briar Sinclair. )
gryffindor, was what she expected, daring and courageous -- Ā a house her own father had been placed in,Ā but when the sorting hat was place upon her temple it thought differently Ā --Ā āāĀ Slytherin!āā although carrying the courageous heart of a gryffindor, she also contained the fight of a slytherin -- Ā the constant ambition to prove herself and the pleasure of standing up against other students (and teachers, ) were traits that sided with her cunning house. thus, Briar Sinclairās life in the school of witchcraft and wizardry began; and it was safe to say she took great pleasure in ruling the halls -- Ā a girl who probably spent more time in detention than actually in classes, a girl who wasn't afraid to fight back, but in a manner that was viewed sly and devious, and she was; her steps were just as well-thought out as the school schedule she had been given ( but didn't followĀ because actually contributing in school wasĀ ā for the weakā. )
one, two, three dead students -- Ā but the last thing Briar was feeling was worried, they were just overreacting; she didnāt give it a second take. then more rumors spread, unrest throughout the wizarding world. she was side eyed wherever she went and comments were made about her blood statusĀ (oneās that were quickly shut up after a few threats emitted from the girl at a ripper height of 5ā²ā2.)Ā Briar feels confident in her means of keeping herself safe, if there is a mysterious halfblood and muggle hater on the loose, she can handle them herself. she figures nobody would be game enough to actuallyĀ attack her Ā -- Ā which is exactly the type of attitude that will get her in such a situation.Ā just a girl, who NEEDS to side with her house, or her blood status, but stubbornly chooses not to.
Boggart: being enclosed in a confinedĀ dark space, blindness.
Amortentia:Ā burning wood, peppermint, mornings, rain,Ā āthe blood of her enemiesā
&. extras.
such an aggressive noodle
horrible student...just horrible..she puts more effort into working out a class escape plan that she does in actually focusing on the class & studying
put her down over her blood status and sheāll personally drain you of your own blood and preform a ritual sacrifice to send your soul to hELL!!!
doesn't even know how she got into the transfiguration club?? she will probably tell you she was probably drunk or somethināĀ but lies, she actually loves it
she also loves flying! and sheās super good at it too!Ā
not a fan of muggle studies, reaaaally good at potions and charms -- Ā sheās fairly smart at most things?? she just doesnt show it -- Ā she prefers to act tough than engage in her classes, smh
will probably trick u into an ogre infested bathroom tbh

If you could trade anyone in your camp for a giant robot suit that had a zombie disintegrating laser beam, but you had to ritually sacrifice them, who would you choose?
āāHoly shit, sign me up !!Ā ( and watch me rule the apocalyptic world ) But honestly, everyone at my camp are nice? Thatās unfair, Iād seem like more of a jerk if I sacrificed them. Iāll say Noah though, sorry boss, but youāre takinā one for the team --- Itās a giant robot suit with laser beams.āā
Isabella for one, I cant leave her behind, Sheās like family.Ā Jake, the place would be boring without him around -- Ā Iād have noone to pick on? Rosario, sheās got the liquor, therefor important.Ā Pasha, we need a reasonable medic around; and heās got that fatherly influence over people, yāknow? and Theo he can just stand in the corner and look pretty -- Ā if not he con people out of their things like the swiper he is -- Ā itāll keep things interesting.
