Regarding the surrogate theory: I actually explored using a surrogate several years ago. When looking at the financial details, there is a timeline for payments based on milestones, at least there was in the "standard" contract that I was given. One installment is due upon proof of the pregnancy, which is BOTH a positive test AND confirmation via sonogram. Which would explain the OB1 setting indicated on that posted sonogram and having said sonogram. Also, I was told that I wouldn't have the surrogates personal details, other than the basics, so not having a name, or a DOB on the sonogram may have been something that the clinic removed as opposed to anyone else. Its been several years, but I was told at the time that this was standard procedure and that any "involvement" with the surrogate or the pregnancy required a lot more money. Its just a theory, and things may have changed since, but at the time I was told that it was the way that surrogates had been handled for some time.
Thank you for the info. I actually don’t know anything about surrogacy, but if that’s still the procedure, that would be a reason why there would be a blank space where the mothers name should be to put whatever you wanted.

Fertility clinic provides monitoring throught out the whole pregnancy esp first trimester so whoever was their suroggate would have done check ups there at least during first trimester
