Yesterday was a very exciting day. I was able to be a part of the installation of the #americanwayfenceproject along American Way in National Harbor, MD. The nine panels (front and back) will reside on this fence for the foreseeable future. It was really fun seeing passerby's reactions to seeing these pieces for the first time. This was a long and labor intensive project, but seeing the final product has made it all worth it. I tend to be my own toughest critic, often thinking "I could have done better". But I am really proud of this project and hope that people enjoy this for years to come. Late last week, I received final approval from @nationalharbor for the illustrations for the #americanwayfenceproject !! Negotiations and discussions on this project started last summer, and I officially began working on it over six months ago. I'll be posting all of the pieces over the next few weeks- this one is a favorite of mine. At National Harbor, there is a huge Seward Johnson sculpture called "The Awakening"- and it brings out the inner child of anyone who lays eyes on it. Tonight in Philly #resist #fucktrump

I'm very excited to finally be able to announce the project I've been working on for the past few months (and will continue for a few more)! Yesterday I received approval to move forward on some design/thumbnail sketches to create a series of artwork that will live on this fence/wall permanently. The fence, located along American Way in National Harbor, MD stretches over 75 feet and will consist of 9 custom illustrations. Each illustration will be printed on archival acrylic panels which become illuminated at night, and each panel is roughly 3.5x7.5 feet. I spent the first month visiting National Harbor, doing some drawing, taking photos, and learning about the city and surrounding area.
