Future Buck opening or helping to open a bakery and it’s specifically a firehouse/firefighter themed bakery and the walls are adorned with 118 memorabilia and pictures of him with his 118 family

Eddie comes in daily to collect fresh cookies for Chris (and himself) and the rest of the 118 come in to chat and catch up with each other.

Sofia The First was a big part of my childhood so of course I just sat down to watch the first 8 episodes of the midquel series “Royal Magic” as it dropped on Disney+. Spoilers I guess?

It captured the essence of the original season of Sofia, I think. It definitely was a bit weaker (“Welcome to Charmswell” was the weakest plot wise imo) but it definitely wasn’t bad. Lovely to hear all the old cast again! Plus the songs still hit (thank god Amber gets a solo), the new animation is fresh and fun too.

The continuity is SURPRISINGLY strong, there’s a lot of little nods and references, implies to me they want you to have seen the entire original series but it’s not over-bloated for new viewers still. It’s really bold to not just ignore what came before and honour it truly instead. The fact they bring up that Sofia has saved the EverRealm twice was nice to hear. I understand some people were upset that she isn’t doing the Protector/Storykeeper stuff but in all honesty I think a little back-to-basics while still acknowledging what came before isn’t the worst.

Also for those unaware: series producer Craig Gerber has said (on bluesky) “there will be no continuation of any storyline from the OG show in the new one at least in Season 1. There is a strong push to provide a new experience for the new audience. Any storyline we'd have to re-explain is usually nixed from above.” (He also says Sofia is taking a break from Protector-ing) Which makes sense. Hopefully if this gets more seasons more from the OG show will come in!

Also excited that Elena will be appearing, my boyfriend watched her series while I watched Sofia ❤️

watched the Gameoverse Pilot the other day, thought it was really cool. Interesting characters, great designs and I love the vibe.

Dunno if it was just me but it took me a bit to grasp the general gist of what was happening and going on and would maybe have liked a littttle more explanation/context but it was still alright not a huge complaint or anything

Eddie and Chris coming over to Buck’s to help with Theo one night but Buck is so exhausted that when he and Eddie sit down on the sofa and Chris and Theo have gone to play, Buck accidentally falls asleep on Eddie who has no idea what to do or feel. He should probably wake him up but also doesn’t want to disturb Buck’s peace and the feeling of Buck resting on him is opening his eyes to something.

They both fall asleep on each-other and wake up to pictures of them everywhere (Chris and Theo took them and printed them out and blue tac’d them on every wall)
