IMAGINE the pictures he would post!!! spiritually i fear that it could easily be his home and four wheels have stolen him away to be someone else. i'm haunted by the idea of him going that path, mostly because the only thing i know about the sport is what comes to me through tumblr, and the things people share are such potent, vibrant examples of things that would never happen in f1 these days. imagining lando in an environment that encouraged him to get freaky on main, when he's already predisposed for it??????!!! it's too much

the best thing about lando is every facet of his personality is entirely sincere. he IS that sweetheart family boy who loves kids and dogs. he IS a feral horny gremlin who wiggles and bounces around to the beat floating between beautiful people. he IS a calculating competitive freak of a professional racing driver. anyone who tries to simplify him into one thing will always read him wrong, because he contains multitudes

I don't care how many laps it took him to make that choice. The fact is that with the helmet on, in the middle of a race and a title fight, running on pure adrenaline, with just one win under his belt, with 'Lando No-Wins' and 'too soft to be a champion' probably echoing in his mind, he still chose to do the right thing by his team and his teammate.
