Its a nice sized community, its a smaller city. Its manageable. You can keep your network open almost from one side to the other. Its a friendly place in that regard. The cost of living is pretty low. Its a good proximity to Chicago and the Twin Cities which are always fun to visit. A lot of good design is happening in Milwaukee.
I'd really like to see design grow in Milwaukee. I'd like to see all the great talent that comes through the design programs here… to keep that talent here and really grow a creative industry that rivals bigger cities.
I hope to see and try to encourage a lot of entrepreneurial ventures by young designers.

As graphic designers we tear things apart and put them back together in a highly improved state where we're using the fundamental skills we learned in our schooling and in experience to build better communication.
I'd like to see a lot of the barriers for diversity broken down, whether you're talking about the creative industry specifically or business or work opportunity in general.
