Where did any of this happen?!?!??
if you want to help the supernatural fandom get destiel in the revival, here's how:
open these yt videos/links once a day (or more!) and let the video play unmuted for at least 30+ seconds to boost views! likes and comments also help, but views are the most important!
⦠destiel date video
⦠destiel compilation valentine's day video
⦠destiel confession video
Also watch other videos on the channel too! The overall performance of the channel will really boost those three specific videos into the spotlight.
This is all nonsense.

Oh god
I just rewatched the scene. Azazel John also looms over Sam aggressively. But I didnāt see anything sexual. John wasnāt looking at Deanās lips, nor did he do anything to indicate he was gonna rape Dean.
I like checked this blog on browser cuz idk I guess I like messing with myself and
I blocked you. why are you taking screenshots of peoplesā shit that donāt want anything to do with you? stop being a fucking freak.
Because otherwise hot takes will run in my mind rent free.

So why do you think it was implied that Yellow Eyes was threatening to rape Dean?
I think Iāve already wrote it out.
I think he was using looming physicality and proximity to Dean as a means to intimidate Dean and force an act out of Sam. What do filmmakers usually insinuate when they have a restrained party being stood over and talked to in a low voice? Assault.
Yellow Eyes is a demon, heās not above torturing people in this way. I donāt know what people who like to argue with other peoplesā critiques/meta-analyses want exactly. A character to say āIām going to sexually assault you now.ā and then have a five minute scene follow up of them doing so afterward?
Because this was a cable TV show, heās not going to out and say/do that. So all of the demonās operate on the Moral Event Horizon, which means other than outright murder (cuz American television isnāt afraid of that sort of assault) the horrible things they do are often just implied. Implications are received differently to each viewer based on experience, belief, and personal circumstances.
Thereās a lot of people who hold true that Sam and Dean and anyone who went to hell were probably raped. But that wasnāt in the show, right? So the implications that it happened arenāt feasible, right? Like Hell and demons are above rape?
I think the Yellow Eyed Demon was trying to threaten Dean, Sam, and John with anything it could think of. In that scene, I believe it was using sexual threat.
He physically loomed over Sam too. Was he also threatening to rape Sam to get at Dean?
And the show does know how to imply rape. They did it several times with Sam and Lucifer. So they could have with YE and Dean, but they didnāt.
Okay, so this is a Sam issue for you? Youāre upset that I like Dean more than I like Sam and didnāt mention him enough/placed a little bit of blame on him in my original post? I never said Yellow Eyes didnāt treat Sam this way - I was talking about Dean.
You made a post about Deanās dynamic with John and Sam and used a threat of sexual assault to support your argument. I think said threat never happened and you said itāll all happen in subtext and I said no we have evidence of implied rape with Lucifer and Sam, so if they wanted to with YE and Dean they could have.
Okay so we disagree. Are you satisfied? Can you fuck off now?
You came at me days after this discussion went cold. I like discussing and arguing about SPN so Iām having fun. If you arenāt, you can stop engaging.
Iām having fun too.
You gonna address my points, then?
I already did, sweetheart.

I think said threat never happened and you said itāll all happen in subtext and I said no we have evidence of implied rape with Lucifer and Sam, so if they wanted to with YE and Dean they could have.
You never responded to this.
Yes, and I said that the actors used physicality to support this. I believe this from my standpoint.
Lucifer raping Sam, just like Dean not denying being raped by Oberon, were verbal affirmations of rape taking place. Past tense. It already happened. We canāt see it.
The YE confrontation was ongoing, we were watching it as it happened. Rapists donāt shout their intentions before doing so. So for us to just be told āYE is trying tg to sexually intimidate Dean (and Sam š) right now!ā wouldnāt make sense.
I think of how when Dean was pointing the gun at John and the demon calls him āBabyā and asking him if heās going to kills his āDaddy.ā Itās obviously meant in the appropriate. None of the interactions with this demon have ever been not-sexually charged.
Thereās a lot of ways to indicate sexual harassment without overtly saying Iām going rape you. Innuendos.
Which you could say are there with Daddy and baby - but a more honest read imo is just the literal family reading. YE is pissed that his daughter and son were killed by Dean, he acknowledged he started by killing Mary.
Then why not position the camera so that Sam was just as diminutive/dominated looking as Dean? I mean Dean is almost entirely taken over by YE/Johnās shadow in this scene.
Other than the fact that JDM is just bigger than Jensen, the camera is placed over Deanās head in his closeups during this scene in a way we very rarely see for the remainder of the show.
Samās chin was lifted, he was still above YE. He wasnāt being looked over like Dean at all. YE and the camera placement and Jensenās hunched form all IMPLY something here. Thereās an unspoken threat happening. At about 1:40 YE really leans in, nearly bumping heads with Dean.
And I donāt think John ever called his sons Baby and the boys never called him Daddy. He was using it to make them feel uncomfortable. How else are those terms used? For sexual partners.
I just donāt see anything sexual. Itās threatening, sure. And you can say there is sexualized language but thereās nothing to indicate YE is seriously considering raping Dean to bait Sam, which you argued.
Yes, because I see it. I wouldnāt have said it if I didnāt believe it.
Weāre talking in circles now. We watched it differently. And Iām guessing so did the numerous other people that youāve screenshotted and disagreed with. So this is why your blog confuses me.
Are you upset people see things/are different from you? Do you think all media and, therefore Supernatural, should all be viewed and thought of in a standardized way? Are you upset that people prefer and side with a different character than you do?
You call them hot takes but are also insulting people by calling them dimwits and the like for reading into things that made it into script but got cut in post-production. You accuse people of bias while also having obvious bias. Because people having opinions makes your viewing of the show unsatisfactory?
I had fun talking this out with you (it made me more steadfast in my opinion of this scene and the Winchester dynamics,) but donāt lie and say that that is what youāre trying to do with this blog. Thereās a reason you pick out the meta you critique and the pattern is very obvious. You wouldāve let the people you screenshot (including my post after I blocked you,) know if you wanted to debate/theorize/whatever-it-is-we-just-did if that was the case. You want a gallery of people to validate you.
I believe that YE was using sexual intimidation towards Dean - using proximity and sexualized language to scare him. Implying rape, harassment, whatever you want to call it.
You donāt? Okay. Next.
Itās interesting that you turned this conversation into what my motives are in running this blog.
I think Iāll try the same thing. My main point is that there is nothing to indicate YE is planning to rape Dean to bait Sam. So instead of talking about that, you psychoanalysis me.
Wow thatās fun. I can see why you do it.
Oh god
