She knows they kissed.

She thinks he doesn’t remember.

He knows they kissed.

He’s acting as if he doesn’t remember.

They’re both acting as if nothing happened between them.

But something is happening between them.

And since he knows they kissed and that she knows they kissed, he’s a little more aware that something is happening between them.

Yet he stays silent.

And she doesn’t say anything.

Because nothing happened.

I get an idea And then it stops Somewhere in the middle Of making sense. So I scratch it out I hold down the backspace key I try to get the words flowing Again. And sometimes it works Sometimes I see my points Sometimes I travel between them With ease. But sometimes it doesn’t Sometimes I stare at nothing Sometimes it’s a jumbled mess Just like before.
