This also goes for pedos, serial killer/shooter fans or apologists, pro-shippers, people who fuh with incest, homophobes, racists, incels & misogynists (men, women, in between and out), weird-ass people who laugh at things like REAL gore because they're "edgy" or "desensitized, " obv abusers, mental disorder fakers or people who make fun of others with physical or mental disorders, and sympathizers or people who lack critical thinking in how these people are or can be problematic so I guess selective close-mindedness. You need better values/mindsets fr.

(Btw for clarification on the Charlie Kirk one: I don't fw laughing about his death as it was pretty messed up but he was "weird" yo put it nicely and didn't show respect towards my people anyway. But the children and random bystanders have my sympathy and that's it)

Also this "callout" goes for people who discriminate within communities. If you're part of the LGBTQ+ yet exclude other groups like bisexuals, asexuals, or poc queers or TRY to include groups like MAP's you are also NOT WELCOME.

Also if there are questions about what I'm talking about, talk to me but come RESPECTFULLY. I don't discriminate if you are from a different religion, sex, political party, etc. cuz as long as you are respectful towards me, I will be towards you. I also won't treat someone who is growing out of certain mindsets poorly, sometimes growing up isn't the best but if you're actively trying to change for the better then you have my support.

Grace will never stop talking

I thought there would come a moment when everything would become obvious.

The right career.

The right person.

The right path.

I imagined someone older, wiser, or more experienced would eventually hand me a map and say,

"Here. This is exactly how your life is supposed to go."

That moment never came.

Instead, life kept asking the same question over and over again.

"What are you going to do now?"

Not tomorrow.

Not when I felt ready.

Now.

I used to find that frustrating.

Now I think it's one of the most terrifying and beautiful things about being alive.

Jean-Paul Sartre once wrote,

"Man is condemned to be free; because once thrown into the world, he is responsible for everything he does."

At first, I hated that idea.

Freedom is something we're taught to celebrate.

We dream about it.

Fight for it.

Protect it.

But nobody talks about what freedom costs.

Because freedom also means responsibility.

It means there isn't always someone else to blame.

Yes, our childhood shapes us.

Yes, our circumstances matter.

Yes, life can be deeply unfair.

Some people begin the race miles behind everyone else.

That's real.

But eventually, there comes a quiet moment when the question changes.

It stops being,

"What happened to me?"

and becomes,

"What am I going to do with what happened to me?"

That's a much harder question.

Because it takes away every comfortable excuse.

It's easier to believe our lives are completely written by fate.

It's comforting to imagine that if things go wrong, the story was simply out of our hands.

But every morning we wake up, life places the pen back in our hands.

Maybe we can't rewrite yesterday.

Maybe we didn't choose every chapter that came before.

But today...

Today asks something of us.

Will you forgive?

Will you keep holding onto anger?

Will you try again after failing?

Will you stay where you've outgrown, or will you risk becoming someone new?

No one can answer those questions for us.

That's the weight of freedom.

I've noticed something about the people I admire most.

They aren't the people who had perfect lives.

They're the people who stopped waiting for perfect circumstances before taking responsibility for the lives they had.

They understood something I spent years learning.

Your past explains you.

It should never imprison you.

There is a strange kind of power that comes with accepting responsibility for your own life.

It's frightening because you lose the comfort of saying,

"I had no choice."

But it's also liberating because you discover something even greater.

"I still have a choice."

Maybe not over everything.

But over who you become.

Over how you love.

How you forgive.

How you respond to disappointment.

How you treat people who can do nothing for you.

How you spend the ordinary days that quietly become your life.

Freedom isn't waking up with endless possibilities.

Freedom is waking up knowing that, despite everything you've been through, your next decision still belongs to you.

And perhaps that's why freedom feels so heavy.

Because every sunrise places the same quiet responsibility into our hands.

To choose.

To act.

To become.

Not the person life expected.

Not the person other people demanded.

But the person whose name we'll spend the rest of our lives carrying.

And in the end, I don't think our lives will be measured by how many choices we had.
