spotify outage does nothing to me because i have all my music downloaded locally, on an external hard drive, and backed up thoroughly. i have a small selection of albums in heavy rotation on my phone's local storage for portable listening. i am begging you all to at least start doing the same thing. there are so many reasons why it's better and safer. you can even torrent shit and artists will still get about as much money. (i say that as someone who torrents music not infrequently)

i'm not trying to be smug or superior i'm just begging y'all to learn that there is a better way

Thank you!! I really appreciate it!! It happened only once (thank god it was only once) but man. It opened my eyes to some shit I swear so it's not all bad. Tbh as time passes and w shit like this I feel more and more resolved to leave and like.... Let myself understand that I'm not the awful person taking up too much space that I think I am, I'm just in a weird ass household that doesn't seem to like me so...... Cheers to that man! I’d only seen maybe a couple hours worth of Jojo media in my life before watching Stone Ocean but I think even with absolutely zero prior knowledge I still wouldn’t be lost? Like if you went in blind to anything about the whole franchise the concept of stands would seem suddenly thrust on you but no moreso than the gimmicks of any other anime. It perfectly contextualizes itself. But now I’m already not sure I could ever enjoy the other arcs the same, I’m already too attached to this being an anime about buff ladies solving mysteries in a Florida prison. I think any show you could describe that way would be a hit but this one is also an Adventures of Jojo so the buff ladies sometimes also spend a lot of time explaining the laws of thermodynamics to an empty room while bleeding to death

Stone Ocean really does that to you. Id reccomend you still watch the other parts as the Stone Ocean ending is..well something.
