my dad had such good steam game taste when i was a kid like he had ftl and papers please and shit like that but all the console games he made me play with him were always like. pga tour or forza which like. did not hold my attention at all.

he didn't know how to adjust expectations to child attention spans so he'd get pissed when i didnt want to play 18 holes of the most boring golf game. hes one of those guys who gets sold on a game if enough people tell him its really realistic.

i remember him being quite disappointed with spore when it came out and i have since read why people were disappointed, but i thought spore was the most awesome shit ever when i played it on his computer cause i was like 8 and it was awesome.

what if you bought a used out of box loose game that released before 2005, wasn't rare, wasn't valuable, and wasn't fun for the exact same price is cost in?
