yelloooo , i know it’s been a while but the decision to do this was made over a month ago i just got super busy . i could write a big long blurb about why i decided to do this but it’s really not long this time -- i’ve exhausted my muse for jj for a while now . i love his purity and his softness , his strength and his goodness , he became an OC to me all things considering . but as i’ve grown busier and wanted to focus myself more on my films and school , holding onto jj is difficult and no longer an enjoyable past time . 

At this point in my life if I'm going to continue to write on tumblr ( as sporadically as it will be ) it’s going to be because i sincerely want to and not because i feel i have to . and in that regard , it basically means i’ll be gravitating towards “ my type ” of muses since those are the ones i hold on to .

BROWS QUIRK AT THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE -- was he supposed to know what the other was saying ?? or was it just a bout of internal monologue for kicks ?? regardless , jj had no idea what the VILLAIN had said aloud at the start .     “     i might be the youngest but i’m not a baby .     ”     it was a stupid thing to respond to and it shouldn’t have gotten to him . and yet , it happened more often than he’d care to admit .     “     it’s not my REPUTATION that’ll stop you , it’s me .     ”     hands at the ready , outstretched and flexed .     “     you're cornered .     ”

chivalry  tastes  foreign  to  her  tongue.       chaos  continues  a  steady  path  down  her  throat     &     she  smiles,         something  kinder  for  him  to  bite  from.         ❝    some  sort  of  hero,       i’d  presume,       come  t’save  the  day  or       .   .   .       whatever  you  promise  to  do.     ❞         words  prove  some  sort  of  edge  pressed  against  the  base  of  her  neck,      hidden  by  the         SHEEP’S  WOOL         tossed  over  her  head.         (     *       this  she   -   wolf  refuses  to  turn  her  underbelly     &     instead  opts  for  a  safer  way  forwards.       )         still  it  bites  at  her  mouth,       pink  flesh  pressed  flush  against  her  upper  lip,       cherry  made  to  relax  from  tongue,       girl   -   sleuth  finding  her  gaze  between  him     /     hell.         her  chin  jerks  forwards     &     that  cherry   -   stem  smile  settles.         ❝    no  need  t’be  rude,       darling.         i  was  gonna  ask  if  y’needed  any  help.     ❞

NOT A HERO ; the words he wishes to say . but those were not the words of an icon . responsibility was sewn into his skin . his family / his  l e g a c y . wear confidence or let fear drown you . as soon as he allows himself to consider his previous words , he recoils .     “     i’m sorry , i didn’t mean to .     ”     because he did not . and yet , nothing he ever did mean to do surfaced in the way he hoped .    “     i’m afraid all that’s left is just a hell of a lot of grunt work .     ”     absentmindedly he kicks at a pile of rubble , scuffing the side of his boot . a frowns sets across his face ; worn , weary , and a little pained .    “     not your responsibility anyway .     ”     

                 ❝     IF THAT WAS THE CASE  ,    IT WOULD ADMITTEDLY BE ONE OF MY WORSE ONES  .     ❞                       a countenance    GILDED    with undeniable pleasure              a certain     SOFTNESS     seeping into the steep of his brow  ,     something akin to long lost familiarity settled deep within the undefined hues of his eyes  .                 AND THERE IT IS      !                what a welcomed sight to he who          BURNS HOTTER THAN THE SUN ITSELF  .            it stirs the flames within him  ,     a    wild    excitement as he slowly lowers himself  ,    eyes watching the dancing flames with care  .      gaze flickers upwards as he’s spoken to  ,    a                    cheshire grin            catching his lips            ❝     i know you’re not  .     ❞              his own fingertips lifted                        TEMPERATURE RISING                     and flames    SPARK   to life upon his skin  .

IF THE MAN WISHED TO CONCEAL what he thought of the boy , he inevitably chose against it . his eyes lit up with promise and sheer excite as jj let the fire spread from his hand to the length of his arm . he could almost hear the warnings of his mother whispered against his ear . ‘ your identity ; you must protect it . ’ and yet there he stood , completely compelled to do whatever this stranger might ask of him . it was terrifying . the flames of his body licked at his sleeves , threatening to singe the entirety of his clothes . he let them die , forcing them into himself . and that’s when he felt the temperature rise . a heat so strong he couldn’t remember what it felt like to set his own body alight . the boy could not comprehend the man who stood before him anymore than he could explain what he had done himself . this was something more , and it ran deeper than the blood that flowed through his veins .

a  slight  grimace  at  the  mention  of  chocolate.       a  timid  hand  offering  it  back;      it’s  better  if  it  doesn’t  go  to  waste!              ❝  —not  really.  ❞

          she paused, shooting him a look.   ❛ okay, fine. but i think being a witch is ACTUALLY LESS CRAZY than being…whatever you apparently are. what the hell are you supposed to be? ❜

                   the engine of the batmoblie comes to life  ;  the engine revving as a challenge. ❛     YOU’RE FUNNY.  ❜    he grins, hanging his arm out of the window nonchalantly.  he’s confident. maybe too confident.   ❛   I’LL TRY NOT TO EMBARRASS YOU TOO MUCH. ❜

“     CAREFUL THERE , you’re starting to sound like DAD .     ”     a light remark in an attempt to quell the immediacy of the situation . eyes are drawn instinctively to the wound ; blood blooming beneath fabric . his hand extends towards his brother ,     “      come on , i’m gonna get you somewhere safe --     ”     words cut like a knife to his tongue as a sudden gut-wrenching bang knocks him to his knees . cover , they needed cover . he moves quickly , rising once again to his feet .    “     just long enough for your cells to stitch yourself back up . you’re fast , but not that fast .     ”
