@fastiell gets a starter !
IT had been a few weeks since helen had seen her son, and while he was all grown up and out of the house now, it was still MUCH longer than sheâd like. over the years helen had found it harder and harder to watch her children GROW UP and start to do things on their own. they were always CLOSE as a family, even when they got to each otherâs throats. but it was a strange transition to go from one day out fighting crime together, to your daughter saying sheâd rather go alone to try and make more of an independent name for herself. donât get her wrong, she was PROUD of her daughter! she just wished that sheâd had more TIME with her.Â
it wasnât THAT many years later that dash had followed his sisterâs footsteps. the house was a lot quieter without two of her children around. still helen was glad to have jack-jack home. but the days she could get either of her other children to visit were SPECIAL. today was one of those days.Â
helen could hear the door open and she headed out to the front room to greet her son. â hi, sweetie. â she said with a smile. â i saw you on the NEWS today. train robbery, pretty impressive, â she was absolutely beaming with pride at him.Â
