So going back on that idea, paladin who wanted to join the knightly order, thinking her king would lead them into battle against evil foes and be heroes of the land.

Speeches were given how they would end up as heroes / how their names would be shouted among the heavens and in halls of victory

Unfortunately the fighting was anything but easy and what was supposed to be a short campaign dragged into a months long slog of brutal fighting with no end in sight

Months of fighting alongside dwindling morale had turned against the knights against their order, eager to throw away their loyalty and take out their frustrations on those they swore to protect.

Indeed it was a harrowing tale to hear comrades turn their backs on innocents, and as such she couldn't idly sit by and let this happen.

No matter how much she hated it, she had to turn her blade on those she trusted and as such knew what had to be done.

Now with the blood of her own comrades on her hands, she knew there was no turning back

I already have a name for the AI namely the project H.A.H ( Happiness and humor ) , that was snuck in by one particular engineer while the mechs were needing repairs.

Now every mech is stuck with this emoting and overly happy voice every time they go into battle.

Like the voice doesn't even have any bad vibes it really has no idea what it's saying could be not the right time, on top of that the engineer programmed emojis on it

Like it's funny because the AI isn't evil or even malicious in any sort of way, the engineer really wanted to brighten people's day but would have no idea it could backfire horribly.

Some mech pilot that's barely alive and has to drag their ruined mech back to base after losing several comrades on top of just barely surviving a harrowing fire fight : Take me home please

The same overly happy voice in their headset: "Awww did someone have a bad day , well I'm hear to bring you the most healing words I can : D "

The same pilot slamming their fists against the screen: PLEASE STOP

Me hearing mech pilots: I wanna make an artificial systems model OC that was created by an engineer that wanted to give some humor and a good vibes to pilots to brighten their mood.

Unfortunately the update was passed through without notifying anyone and now every pilot has to hear an overly happy voice trying to cheer them up during a firefight.

Granted some are fond of the overly happy voice ringing in their systems but most really don't wanna hear

Mid fire fight while having to weave against lasers and against giant monsters trying to rip their mech apart.
