and another thing. obviously the writing in s3 is bad but i'm shocked at how much it relies on callbacks and "remember when x said y" moments. one of the cheapest tricks in the book to get a reaction out of people but they somehow managed to pack so many of them into 90 minutes. "should i say thank you" "better not"; *question is asked* *mumbled response* *??* *yelled response* (both of which are used at least twice each); reusing words they know the fandom is attached to like bebop etc and that's just off the top of my head like they lifted so many moments from previous seasons that people liked and shoved them in here half heartedly
